Daniel holds many delusional beliefs, mainly due to his his [[Daniel and Mental Health|mental illnesses]] and manipulation by [[trolls]].

Because of this, Daniel's perception of [[Daniel and reality|reality]] has been on a downward spiral since his [[Classic Era|first appearances]] on the Internet.

Despite many trying to break his delusions, Daniel still holds on strongly to these beliefs, even while institutionalized.

Information on this is sparse, but according to Daniel, Nancy’s main argument for him to not be in his father’s care was because he “didn’t even know his father.”<ref>[[Spiddlekick Interview]]</ref> One of the other reasons stated for Nancy wanting custody of Daniel was due to fear of him ending up in a foster home, which he had been in many beforehand. The Dark Ages, or The Larsonian Blackout, refers to points within the Daniel Larson timeline where seemingly out of nowhere, Daniel's posts came to a sudden stop, due to anything explainable or unexplainable. As coined by the community, a Larsonian Blackout usually lasts at least 7 days without communication or status updates from Daniel. While the term was coined during the time he went missing following the Casino Freakout in [[Las Vegas Arc|Las Vegas]], Daniel has gone missing numerous times, or has gone off the radar in the past.

== December-March 2021 Blackout ==
Between December of 2020 and March of 2021, Daniel's activity on social media, more notably TikTok came to a sudden halt. This came after allegations of Daniel being a [[Pedophilia|pedophile]] came to light, and following the events that led to [[Roach Records]] cutting ties with Daniel. While many speculate as to why Daniel's posts had come to a sudden halt during this time, many attribute it to his case manager [[Reva]] taking his phone from him, though this has not been proven or explained. Daniel would post on TikTok once more on the 4th of March 2021 following his disappearance under the daniellarsonfans TikTok account.

It is unknown as to why this blackout occurred, and Daniel has never commented on this issue.

== Las Vegas Blackout ==
Following the events of the previous few days where Daniel found himself wandering around Las Vegas and getting banned from MGM properties, Daniel mysteriously went AWOL, leaving the entire community confused. During his absence, the Daniel Larson subreddit was made private due to the risk of it being banned after [[The Seige of R/Las Vegas]]. This marked the start of The Dark Ages. Daniel uploaded his last video before his disappearance on the 15th of February, asking for donations to be able to afford a hotel for the night and claiming to be at "13 Points". He was spotted by fans hours prior at The Aria Casino on the strip, where he was sitting at a slot machine and supposedly had $14 in credit (Information from iamstoney#7917 on the Daniel Larson World discord).

There were very few updates on Daniel's whereabouts during this time, and he was claimed to have been spotted multiple times by Las Vegas locals, but these claims have yet to be proved. Daniel remained missing until the 22nd of February, where a video posted by u/Ill_Editor1804 on the r/daniellarson subreddit showed a man crossing the street who looked eerily similar to Daniel. OP wrote in the caption of the post, "Hey guys, I just witnessed Daniel getting kicked off a city bus in Las Vegas. He tried getting on but refused to pay the fare. After I got off the bus, my father picked me up and we drove back down the street, and he was walking I snagged a quick video. It looks like he got a fresh haircut bald again. He is still wearing the same outfit from over 8 days ago. He sounded very defeated and sad when he was talking with the bus driver." This was the first legitimate piece of information on Daniel since the 16th of February.

Daniel's sighting almost immediately shut down all theories regarding his situation, such as him retreating into the Las Vegas tunnels and being killed, being cloned, receiving a lobotomy, or being arrested, as there was finally concrete evidence that he was alive and well. However, the blackout hadn't quite come to a conclusion, as Daniel still had no way of communicating with the internet, but the community finally had a piece of the puzzle.

At around 5pm PST on 2/23/2023, Daniel finally made his return on a new TikTok account (@daniellarsonlv) uploading a series of videos explaining his absence. He claims to have been jumped by 2 "fans" who punched him and stole his phone. He also claimed that during the interaction with the 2 attackers, they fractured his skull, which explains the buzz cut that he received during his visit to the hospital. He was also wearing the same jacket that he was spotted wearing in the reddit post previously mentioned. All the dots started to connect, as it was made apparent that Daniel had no phone and couldn't afford a new one considering he had no access to his donations which were done through apps like CashApp and PayPal, and he had to rely on the generosity of his fanbase to acquire a new phone in person. Upon Daniel's return, he also stated he would be receiving $380 of food stamps per month, and he now has housing arrangements through a company called Sober Homes. This part of the story is still unfolding, and all of the information here is yet to be 100% proven, however these accounts come straight from Daniel himself, and are unlikely to be false, but only time will tell.

While only lasting a little over a week, The Dark Ages was a worrisome period in the Daniel Larson community. No update was available on the whereabouts of Daniel, the subreddit was down, and panic amassed in the discord with allegations and theories springing up from multiple sources and individuals. Fortunately, The Dark Ages came to an abrupt end after Daniel was able to get a new phone and make a new TikTok account where he updated his fans on the situation.

It happened on a pretty regular basis, and one time, a kid, even Caused such a ruckus that we went the entire day in a close and lock. There were a few situations where this kind of emergency would happen. Brawls between students, self injury, and violence towards the staff were some of the primary reasons that they would call a close and lock. I personally never caused a close and lock. I was one of the few students that didn't ever get into a physical altercation that caused an event such as that. But often times the authorities would be called, and typically an arrest would be performed. It was pretty common to not have students for weeks, because of the fact that they were in jail. Fighting and delinquency were some of the main reasons people were there.

You had a lot of developmentally, disabled children, as well as depression sufferers, and others that had conditions that can have the side effect of poor hygiene. After a while, your nose just kind of got numb to the poor hygiene. So yes, there was one time that I also saw him put his tongue in his nose like he does today. When I say that he seemed relatively normal, I mean in the sense that he didn't stand out as much as he does today.''

He was very quiet, and occasionally some of my classmates would call him Danny phantom. That is a fact. He was often times, escorted by staff and the closest that I ever had contact with him was when we were both helping a sister gym class with a lot of the younger kids. Even then, he was more on the reserved side. We didn't really converse all that much, even though I was nice to him. He definitely was having a gassy day, however. I was saved by the bell when a brawl broke out between the little kids in the class. While Danny's escort took him out, I was left to pry the kids apart. I didn't hate him whatsoever, and I was very nice to him. I didn't really know what was really going on with him. The school kind of kept things that way with everybody. so considering he seemed relatively presentable, it was kind of a shock when I found out how he turned out.

{{Blue|u/FlyingFoxandwings:}} Potentially. I've already said this before, he was a very reserved wallflower. He didn't even seem like he had that many issues besides autism. He was very quiet, and occasionally some of my classmates would call him Danny phantom. That is a fact. He was often times, escorted by staff and the closest that I ever had contact with him was when we were both helping a sister gym class with a lot of the younger kids. Even then, he was more on the reserved side. We didn't really converse all that much, even though I was nice to him. He definitely was having a gassy day, however. I was saved by the bell when a brawl broke out between the little kids in the class. While Danny's escort took him out, I was left to pry the kids apart. I didn't hate him whatsoever, and I was very nice to him. I didn't really know what was really going on with him. The school kind of kept things that way with everybody. so considering he seemed relatively presentable, it was kind of a shock when I found out how he turned out.

The incident occurred around 1:30 PM MST inside a Walmart in Colorado. Upon realizing that Music had been "dognapped" from him, Daniel had a destructive meltdown, causing approximately $2,000 in property damage. He cracked a bus window and damaged multiple appliances inside the store.

This incident was one of the few where no bystanders or direct witnesses recorded any of it, rendering it lost media for several months. It remained undocumented until February 28, 2024, when it was found via police bodycam footage. Interestingly, Daniel, who is known to compulsively lie, was surprisingly somewhat accurate about the whole incident. In a phone call made shortly after the incident, he described being physically restrained, causing damage to store property, and breaking a lottery machine. All of these details were later confirmed by the recovered bodycam footage, lending unexpected credibility to his account.

One detail Daniel notably omitted from his phone call was the leash. According to a woman working nearby, Daniel had swung a leash that he purchased earlier for Zola at a nearby PetSmart, and struck the front window of a bus carrying senior citizens, causing it to crack.

Daniel was humorously described to have been "40-50 years old" according to witnesses on the bus.
== Background ==
Between July 9-11, 2023, Daniel's followers had been searching for him out of growing concerns that a dog he had recently adopted—named "Music" (originally Zola) by Daniel, was in danger, due to his homelessness and his grave inability to take care of himself. The Longmont Humane society was called in the three days that Music was in Daniel's possession, along with Animal Control units. On July 11, an individual known as "Ween," who had posed as a veterinarian, successfully recovered Music and returned the dog to the Longmont Humane Society shelter.

Following Music's recovery, Daniel stopped posting for seven hours. He then posted that he was out of police custody and facing new criminal charges. One post showed Daniel with a visibly injured face, which he implied resulted from repeatedly hitting himself. He also explained engaging in self-injurious behaviors and claimed that Walmart security had thrown him down during the incident. Daniel elaborated on his version of events in multiple posts on his community tab over the following days.

After these posts, a call between Daniel and an unknown individual surfaced where Daniel goes into depth regarding his side of the story. This call was recorded by Goated Mines, one of the key players in rescuing Music from Daniel.

According to Lil Sippy himself, his childhood was troubled. In April of 2022, at the age of 17, he got into a physical altercation with an individual who was 14–15 years old. According to him, this individual initiating physical assault, and Sippy swung back in an effort to defend himself. However, this did not work in his favor, as he was soon charged with physical abuse of a child.<ref name=":0">[[Lil Sippy AMA]]</ref> Sippy sat in an adult county jail In his home state of Wisconsin, Sippy was legally tried as an adult due to the age of the individual he got into a fight with.

In June of 2022, Lil Sippy was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm. In October 2022, he was charged with one count of bail jumping; this charge was later dismissed in August 2024. In August 2024, he was again charged with bail jumping; this charge was dismissed in October 2024. As of October 2024, the only pending criminal charge he has against him is the firearm possession charge.

His trouble making did not stop into his adulthood, however. In May 2022, Lil Sippy was prohibited from being within 500 feet of any schools. This prohibition remains in effect as of December 2024. Daniel claims that during his time staying at Dawn's house, everybody in the house "considered him family," and as such, Daniel would begin calling Breanna and her brother as his siblings, despite not being biologically related to either of the children. Daniel has also referred to Breanna as a "close family friend."

On October 23, 2020, Daniel started two seemingly innocent livestreams, "[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bd41tj3Y1H0 daniel's free time with friends.]" and "[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYBRc5wHnFo Just some FREE TIME!!!!!!!]," featuring Breanna and her brother. In the first stream, Daniel is mostly seen interacting with Breanna, and in the second, with her brother. The stream with her brother is notable for an interaction where, when prompted by a message in the chat, Breanna's brother referred to him as a "client." Daniel, visibly angered by this, proceeded to insist that he was the boy's brother.

On November 5, 2020, Daniel made several [[@DanielL81345614|tweets]] with the hashtag ''#breanna''.

[[Larsonleak]]'s video, "The Daniel Larson Files", features a short segment with a leaked conversation in which Daniel discusses a possible legal investigation involving [[Daniel MacDougall]] into the Breanna situation. MacDougall made Daniel take a lie detector test after two of his care providers came forward about sexual assault. MacDougall then wanted to meet with Breanna to clarify what happened with Daniel, but it is unknown what came of this meeting or if it even happened.
