[[Daniel Larson]]'s '''health''' leaves much to be desired. Even those with only a cursory knowledge of medicine can see that Daniel is not in good health -- both physically and mentally. A predominant theme in the Daniel Larson saga is Daniel's chronic [[Daniel and Mental Health|mental health issues]] and his deteriorating physical health.

Considering him being underweight, his poor nutrition, refusal to bathe, chronic self-harming, and the profound uncleanliness of his surroundings, Daniel is at extreme risk of a premature death and other debilitating health issues.

Daniel is very obviously not physically fit, and is notably underweight. His various [[Daniel's Criminal History|warrants]] have listed his basic information. Daniel is a 5'10" Caucasian male who weighs about 115 pounds (equivalent to a BMI of 16.4), which according to the Center for Disease and Control is underweight.<ref>[[File:Image213124.png|thumb]]</ref> In 2024, his hospital records from the [[Red Robin Poisoning]] stated a weight of 119 pounds and a BMI of 17.07, which still classifies as underweight. His physical strength is notably very weak. During the [[College Arc]], he was challenged to bench press an empty barbell, which typically weighs about 45lbs (or 20kg); his arms collapsed under the weight of it, and another student had to step in to prevent him from being crushed. The average American male in their mid-twenties can usually bench press around 216 pounds (or 98kg), meaning Daniel's strength is less than a fifth of what the average man can lift.

Daniel is also notable for his unique body. He has a small stature, a his sunken in chest, and abnormally large feet. It is unclear why he looks the way he does, but it is speculated that Daniel suffers from a physical disease such as progeria, which is an extremely rare, progressive genetic disorder. Put simply, Daniel does not have a very good diet. Daniel's diet mainly consists of meals from fast food chains such as McDonald's, [[Panera Bread Incident|Panera Bread]], and [[Olive Garden Incident|Olive Garden]]. At one point, Daniel purchased over 3 mac and cheese dishes from Panera Bread, not realizing that, for one, he did not need to eat that much, and two, it was insanely unhealthy. The caloric content of these dishes often exceed fast food burgers. His diet also contributes in large part to many of his health issues, as well as his [[Finances|financial problems.]]

It does not help at all that Daniel does barely any water consumption, often drinking soda, juice, and milkshakes. The sugary contents of these beverages breaks down the enamel of his teeth, further worsening the state of his dental health, compounded by his refusal to brush his teeth.

During the several [[Jail (Disambiguation)|jail arcs]], Daniel seemed to have regained color in his face, and looked significantly healthier. This is likely due to him having a far more limited access to junk food.

== Living Conditions ==

The most notable thing about Daniel Larson is his profound lack of housing. Simply put, Daniel's living conditions are less than adequate. Ever since the beginning of the [[Homeless Era]] in late 2021, Daniel has spent close to 3 years growing acclimated to living in conditions of abject filth and untidiness. Daniel was prescribed a lotion for this issue, to which he proceeded to not use it at all.{{Citation Needed}} Eventually, the scabies became so severe it got to the point he was bleeding out of his skin. Daniel went to the hospital and received a dose of Ivermectin and was cleaned off. Following the visit, his scabies went into remission.

Unsurprisingly, Daniel's podiatric health has taken a significant nosedive as well. This is most likely a result of Daniel not being able to keep off of his feet due to homelessness, only exacerbated by the fact he refused to use his money to buy a new pair of socks, let alone medicine for his issues, favoring expensive macaroni and cheese and trips to the Cheesecake factory instead. When visiting a hospital, a doctor told Daniel to keep his feet dry, limit his walking, change his socks often, and find a homeless shelter or hotel to sleep at. Daniel proceeded to do none of this.{{Citation Needed}} Trench foot, if it gets severe enough, can require amputation. This is a severe disorder, and recently Daniel has posted videos of his feet bleeding due to damage.

It could also be lymphedema, which can be a result of bacteria or some sort of contamination. A major concern with Daniel is a possible blood clot or circulation issues, as he is noted to have talked about losing feeling in his foot.

It is also likely that Daniel has a foot deformity. In pictures from his youth, Daniel's feel are notably disproportionate compared to his body. Although, what causes this is unknown.

== Rhinologic Health ==

One of the defining factors of Daniel's appearance is his abnormally large nose. It is unclear as to why it is so big, and one can only assume why.

On April 5, 2023, Daniel had a large, distinctive laceration on his nose as a result of an [[Bodega Incident|altercation with a bodega employee]]. Daniel kept picking off the scab, showing off a bleeding hole located at the middle of his nose. This scab was dubbed as “Scabfrica” due to it vaguely resembling the continent of Africa. Several of his videos were hidden by TikTok due to how gory they were. Abundantly clear, Daniel obviously suffers from dental problems. Daniel is missing teeth due to a condition called Hypodontia. It is when you fail to develop some/all of your adult teeth. It can be inherited or caused by illnesses in infancy. He did have a full set of teeth baby teeth but when the baby ones fell out, there was no teeth to replace them in a few spots.

He also never brushes them and drinks soda exclusively."</ref> Due to him never having his teeth replaced with a second set, Daniel was left with a maw lacking in teeth. His teeth have also visibly yellowed, and it is a mystery as to why Daniel has not accrued a single cavity. It can be argued that Daniel does not know how to use a toothbrush, because during the one time he had access to one, [[The Toothbrush Incident|he shoved it in his ass]].

Due to his homelessness (which seems to affect almost everything he does), it is more difficult for him to brush his teeth. He also does not want to because of his aversion to general hygiene, with dental hygiene being the last thing he would ever consider. As a result of his lack of money, insurance, and general laziness, Daniel is unable to visit a dentist, with his crooked teeth going un-straightened. He visibly has a misshapen dental arch. His front 2 teeth are different sizes, possibly from unfixed crowding, and only his front 2 teeth are displayed while talking, as he does not have any bottom front teeth.

Factoring in his diet, Daniel's teeth are most likely being worn down every time he drinks sugary soda or energy drinks, rarely having any sort of water intake.

Overall, due to a lack of a dentist and dental hygiene, Daniel's dental health is extremely poor.

== Mental Health==

[[Daniel and Mental Health|As noted]], Daniel has a less than positive relationship with his own mental health. He is significantly mentally ill, being diagnosed with autism, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. Daniel's mental health significantly impacts him, evidenced through his most notable trait, his [[delusions]]. Additionally, it does not help that he refuses to receive help for them, refusing therapists time and time again, and denying antipsychotics when prescribed to him.

Daniel will engage in [[Self Harm|self-harm]] by banging his head on objects and hitting himself, usually when he is frustrated, having a [[Meltdowns|meltdown]], or when extremely agitated. Daniel has self-harmed many times, punching and slapping himself in the face in an attempt to voice his frustration. Even more dangerously, Daniel is known to have hit himself until he bled during the [[December 10th Incident|December 10th]] and [[Panera Bread Incident|Panera Bread Incidents]]. Daniel, being autistic and mentally ill, needs prescription medication to control himself. In spite of this, he refuses to fill his prescriptions largely because he is lazy and believes he does not need them (and mostly because they are too expensive for him to purchase due to his lack of budgeting skills). Daniel is currently prescribed Latuda and one other unknown medication.

Daniel has an extremely poor and warped view of sexual intercourse, mostly stemming from his stunted sexual development, comprehension skills, and mental age. This is most likely a factor behind his alleged [[pedophilia]], and also potentially because of [[Pedophilia#Origins|sexual abuse in his past]]. Though this is not an excuse/justification for this.

Daniel has an incredibly childish view of sex and what sex is like, so much so that Daniel idolizes it and has odd ideas of how sex works. He knows very little about sex; he is noticeably confused about basic sexual terminology. For example, Daniel has called ejaculation "..the peeing feeling"[Citation needed]. Most of Daniel's sexual fantasies are recreations of what he pictures within his mind and not from sexual experience. Daniel has admitted on various occasions that he is a virgin.

Daniel seems very interested in furthering his sexual education, often asking people via private messages if they have had sex, what it felt like, and other similar questions. Even in group messages, Daniel did not shy away from showing his unbridled sexual inquiries.

Daniel shows a lack of understanding around sex, often wondering and asking if rape feels any good at all. He is very apathetic about consent and to a larger extent, rape. When a troll pretending to be [[Grace VanderWaal]] [https://daniellarson.wiki/index.php/Grace_VanderWaal#Grace_Rape_Troll told him that she was being raped], he asked if it felt good and various other questions as to what being raped was like. This was presumably so Daniel could get off to the thought of his favorite celebrity and long-time crush engaging in sexual activity. Perhaps he asked these questions because the troll was pretending to be Grace, but even people who aren't Grace VanderWaal are asked similar questions.

This behavior is most likely explained by his ignorance about the world, which causes him to be quite naïve about how bad rape actually is. To Daniel, it is nothing more than another word for sex.

Pedophilia has always been a touchy subject for Daniel. During the initial leaking of Daniel's [[Pinterest]] account, he had at first attempted to deny all claims that he was a pedophile, pretending he hadn't even known what Pinterest was, before backtracking and boldly admitting it to the camera.

Daniel's pedophilia dates as far back to when he was 18, where he had seen 12 year-old [[Grace VanderWaal]] on ''America's Got Talent''. Daniel's grandmother [[Nancy Shimer]] told Daniel that he would have a chance at dating Grace, which resulted in Daniel's years long obsession with Grace, sexual fantasies about Grace, and stalking[Citation needed]. Even though Grace is now an adult, during the years when Daniel started TikTok she was still underage, and Daniel did not shy away from talking about her in inappropriate ways. When messaging with trolls who pretended to be Grace, Daniel had (and still presumably has) a habit of sending photos of Grace from her childhood which he attempted to sexualize[Citation Needed].

Daniel is well aware of the allegations of pedophilia against him, and has vehemently denied it. To try to salvage his reputation, when he spoke to a person he thought was a minor on Kik, [[Pedophilia#Kik sting| he changed his name to "Bill Carter" in an attempt to evade suspicion and throw people off his scent.]] Events such as this highlight that Daniel is [https://www.lacriminaldefenseattorney.com/legal-dictionary/c/consciousness-of-guilt/|fully aware that what he is doing is wrong], although he shows no sign of stopping.

In these messages, Daniel claims that he was getting something for "us", as if the troll was going to feel Daniel using the fleshlight. Using Bob's money, he purchased a fleshlight from a sex shop (which sex shop is unknown), and showed it off to the troll. Daniel lost the bag he kept the fleshlight in.

On August 15th, 2023, Daniel purchased 4 more fleshlights, 2 of them resembling a man's anus. Daniel claimed to have spent $500 dollars that day. Daniel's reasoning for buying all four instead of just one is unknown. Daniel's obsession with buying expensive things instead of saving his resources while homeless is a mystery. Due to Daniel's homelessness, there is a very strong chance that if he ever gets around to using these toys, they will most likely remain uncleaned and absolutely filthy.

When Daniel was arrested in Boulder, a fleshlight could be seen in bodycam footage of the officer searching his backpack. The fleshlight was not removed by the officer, though it did cause him to cough and retch profusely.

==Usage of Drugs==
While he rarely shows it, Daniel has used both prescription and more illicit drugs. He has largely abandoned the usage of prescription drugs likely owing to their high cost and his lack of insurance, but he has drank and consumed marijuana (albeit through a hotbox, and not of his own volition) before. There is no evidence (yet, at least) to suggest Daniel has smoked tobacco or done any hard drugs (which can range in nature from psychedelic mushrooms to methamphetamine.)

There is some evidence to suggest at least a few of his meltdowns can be attributed to alcohol usage, with at least a part of the [[July 2022 Electronic Destruction Spree|tech destruction spree in July of 2022]] having Daniel claim he slammed a device on the concrete.

Daniel claims alcoholism is part of what ruined his life, stating he was pressured into alcohol (perhaps by past [[Management]]) and became addicted. He can be seen drinking it whenever he is more well off than usual and oftentimes when he is at sporting events, see [[Timeline]]. It is generally believed that if Daniel was better off, his drinking would likely be far more regular, perhaps to the point of it being a problem.

===Marijuana===
Daniel has been under the influence of marijuana before, though the only evidence of this comes as a result of being hotboxed by fans. Daniel's reaction in this particular case appears to be excitedly screaming and yelling, perhaps as a result of the specific strain of marijuana being a sativa strain, or at the least a sativa-heavy hybrid strain. It could also be possible that Daniel had a negative experience that caused him to panic, although his excitement generally suggests the former.

Despite this fact, Elisabeth had also accused her own son of abuse towards her, which is substantiated as Elisabeth was documented to have been [[November 6th Arrest|assaulted by Daniel]] when he was 18 years old. Despite these mutual accusations of abuse, Elisabeth’s behaviors seem to have rubbed off onto Daniel during his childhood, as [[Discography|much like her son]], she too had an interest in music.

Something that is interesting to note about Elisabeth is her affinity for singing, which most likely influenced Daniel to pursue a career in singing. Elisabeth is assumed to have passed away around or during October 2024 at the age of 47 due to unknown circumstances. The circumstances of her death are widely debated, with many attempting to contest that Daniel's mother had truly passed.

Elisabeth's death was initially made known by Daniel's biological aunt, Donna Mcelroy. It is widely believed that Donna is Elisabeth's sister from her biological family, as Donna is not documented to be one of Nancy’s biological children. This relationship is reinforced by past posts made by Donna which Elisabeth commented on wherein Donna refers to Elisabeth as her sister. Daniel is Elisabeth's first and only biological child after the death of her twins and herself.

Elisabeth's relationship with Daniel can be best described as shattered. Daniel has claimed that Elisabeth was abusive to him during his childhood, though the exact nature of this abuse is unknown, as one time he said that she and Travis beat him with belts for "15 years", and at another time, she never abused him at all. However, during Daniel's trial, the court referenced a report from 2011 where Daniel's mom shared that Daniel had a "non-accidental head injury around age 3 weeks, and a seizure around 5 months.", making abuse at her hands highly probable. A medicated also Daniel reported that when he was 8 years old, his mom hit him with a hammer. At numerous points, the psychiatrists pointed to these multiple head injuries as a cause for some of Daniel's developmental deficiencies.

However, in Facebook posts made in the early 2010's, Elisabeth would wax poetic about how much she loved Daniel. Even after Travis left her in 2010, Elisabeth still made an effort to try and get her back into her life, but eventually gave up on Daniel herself.

One of Elisabeth's nicknames for Daniel was, "Danny Boy", which he grew to detest and hate being called. Something that is interesting to note about Elisabeth is her affinity for singing, which most likely influenced Daniel to pursue a career in singing. On her YouTube account, she would upload several videos of her singing, the most infamous being tributes to various people, namely Daniel. Sometime after Daniel was adopted by Nancy, Elisabeth was soon given access to see him once more, though the exact date is unknown. She had also made a tribute video to Joyetta and Olivia, wherein she sang "Angels", sharing various pictures of them after birth. Elisabeth shows an intense love for both of these children, although by the time the video had been posted, it had been well over a decade after their births, presumably showing more love for them than Daniel.

Elisabeth is assumed to have passed away around or during October 2024 at the age of 47 due to unknown circumstances. The circumstances of her death are widely debated, with many attempting to contest that Daniel's mother had truly passed.

Elisabeth's death was initially made known by Daniel's biological aunt, Donna Mcelroy. It is widely believed that Donna is Elisabeth's sister from her biological family, as Donna is not documented to be one of Nancy’s biological children. This relationship is reinforced by past posts made by Donna which Elisabeth commented on wherein Donna refers to Elisabeth as her sister. In a Facebook post made in August 2024, Donna made it known that she had not heard from Elisabeth in nearly two years, before posting in October of same year, announcing Elisabeths death and asking for further information regarding it.

As of 2025, it is still unknown what caused Elisabeths death. Additionally, the status of her husband is also unknown.

Like many other aspects about them, not much about their relationship with each other is known. But, according to Facebook posts, their relationship deteriorated around [[Timeline (2010s)|2010]], coming to a screeching halt after Travis called Daniel a lost cause, insisting he would never get better. The fact that [[Daniel Larson Wiki|this very wiki]] exists has (unfortunately) proven him correct.

After this, Elisabeth insisted that she did not need a man in her life, claiming Travis to be "..obsessed with sex" and not caring for others feelings. These posts kicked off a constant theme of not needing a man in her life. However, this did not last very long, following her engagement on January 1st, 2011.

After their breakup, Travis left her for another woman not long after Daniel was taken away. Following their breakup, Travis had at least one daughter with his new wife Paige, named Aurora Larson.

Elisabeth's relationship with her adopted mother is most unknown. What is known is that through connections as a social worker, Elisabeth was adopted by Nancy. Though, it is not known at what time or year she was adopted. In June 2022, in comments made under a video uploaded by [[Papa Gut]], she elaborated on her relationship with her Nancy, where she claimed that Nancy had not liked her moving away to Colorado in 2009, resulting in Nancy "spreading lies", said lies being unclear. {{Quote|This was all a lie ...she just didn't like me moving away so she spread lies. Daniel is Elisabeth's first and only biological child after the death of her twins and herself.

Elisabeth's relationship with Daniel can be best described as shattered. Daniel has claimed that Elisabeth was abusive to him during his childhood, though the exact nature of this abuse is unknown, as one time he said that she and Travis beat him with belts for "15 years", and at another time, she never abused him at all. However, during Daniel's trial, the court referenced a report from 2011 where Daniel's mom shared that Daniel had a "non-accidental head injury around age 3 weeks, and a seizure around 5 months.", making abuse at her hands highly probable. A medicated also Daniel reported that when he was 8 years old, his mom hit him with a hammer. At numerous points, the psychiatrists pointed to these multiple head injuries as a cause for some of Daniel's developmental deficiencies.

However, in Facebook posts made in the early 2010's, Elisabeth would wax poetic about how much she loved Daniel. Even after Travis left her in 2010, Elisabeth still made an effort to try and get her back into her life, but eventually gave up on Daniel herself.

One of Elisabeth's nicknames for Daniel was, "Danny Boy", which he grew to detest and hate being called. Daniel also alleges that Elisabeth hated being called "mom" or "mother", and demanded that Daniel call her "mommy", otherwise she would get upset.<ref>https://www.reddit.com/r/Daniellarson/comments/14kn6gg/surprising_revelations_about_daniels_mother/</ref> However, like many others things, it should be noted that Daniel is extremely delusional and his statements should not be taken at face value.

There are also extremely tenuous (and more importantly, '''unconfirmed''') claims of Elisabeth sexually assaulting Daniel when he was a young child, which may have kicked off his [[pedophilia]]. This claim comes from question Daniel asked on his [[Quora|Quora page]] "Has your mother ever given you a hand job as a kid?" as well as a testimony from a person ''claiming'' to be a caretaker of Daniel's who said he had a "history of child sexual abuse." However, this is probably unlikely, given Elisabeth becoming paralyzed, and [[11/6/17 Arrest|Daniel's history of beating his mother.]]

This would not serve her in the long run, as Daniel was claimed to have beaten his mom and his grandmother for "ten straight years", which painted ''him'' as the abuser. This got to a point where Daniel was even arrested, [[11/6/17 Arrest|having to serve 44-45 in prison for 3rd degree assault]] after he shoved his mother. In June of 2022, Elisabeth would leave comments on videos made by YouTuber [[Papa Gut]], detailing her experiance with Daniel while he was living with both her and his grandmother,

In the comments, Elisabeth would go into further detail on a number of topics relating to Daniel, including Daniel's various disabilities that were beyond autism (such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder), his history of physical violence against both her and [[Nancy Shimer]], the interpersonal relationship between the three of them, and how Daniel even went to jail because of this physical violence.<ref>[[:File:ElisabethShimerPapaGut(1).png]]</ref>

Daniel still maintained contact with her throughout her later life. In some leaked text massages, she stated that despite everything that happened, her love for Daniel still remained, and pleaded for Daniel to finally get the help he needed. Sadly, Daniel did not reciprocate her love or pleas and started insulting her when calling out his delusions.

When Daniel was informed of her death in prison, he showed no interest.
