The Second Housing Arc spanned from August 31 to October 16, 2022. It began after Daniel reached out to the Shields Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping those with disabilities in securing housing and attain other skills. They eventually set him up with housing, marking what many believed to be the end of the first Homeless Era.

The house was run by a woman named Ms. P, and his case manager during this time was Reva.

Shortly after moving in, the house’s address was leaked online, leading to unwanted deliveries including sex toys and pizza. In response to this, Daniel had multiple meltdowns where he put his holes in the wall, and hit himself. This situation prompted a meeting on October 16, 2022, to determine how best to manage the challenges. The meeting culminated in Daniel being removed from the house by authorities due to a severe meltdown.

As of August 2024, this was the final time that Daniel had access to organized housing.

Background

Prior to the beginning of this arc, Daniel had been homeless for over four months following being evicted from housing in April 2022. This period marked the end of the Classic Era and the beginning of the Homeless Era. The turning point came as a result of frequent conflicts with his caretakers and housemates, which led to multiple police interventions. During this time, Daniel was also in regular contact with online trolls who fueled his delusions of fame and success. Believing his caretakers were restricting him, he ultimately ran away from his disability housing. Afterward, he became almost entirely dependent on fan donations for support and committed several crimes while homeless. For a period, Daniel received assistance from his manager, Ox, who established a Twitch channel for him and regularly secured motel rooms for his accommodation.

During this time, Daniel, and presumably Ox, worked with his case manager Reva to secure a new housing arrangement, moving into state-subsidized housing managed by the Shields Foundation on August 31, 2022.

After being placed in housing through the Shields Foundation, Daniel moved into a residence managed by a woman named Ms. P. He claimed that he was the only client living there with the care providers, with a large bedroom furnished with new furniture and filled with his personal belongings. [citation needed] His belongings included board games, books, magazines, and various items sent by fans, such as a large toothbrush and several sex toys. Despite the generous and relatively comfortable accommodations, Daniel began accusing his care providers of abuse, primarily over their decision to confiscate his phone.[citation needed]

Time in Ms. P's House

Daniel’s transition into his new disability housing was turbulent. On the very first night, September 1, Ox tried to order him a pizza, but it was mistakenly delivered to Daniel’s old address. This led to a meltdown, during which Daniel posted numerous videos on YouTube angrily criticizing Ox and described the situation by stating, “I am living in hell.”[1]

Property Damage

Not even a few days of moving in...

Just one big mess.

On September 2, 2022, within two days of moving in, Daniel caused significant property damage during a series of meltdowns, including punching several holes in the walls and breaking a large window, cutting his finger trying to clear it after. [2] Daniel later claimed that trolls were “responsible” for the holes. He reportedly went on to further damage the bedroom by tearing out sections of the wall and breaking the same window a second time after it had been repaired on October 5.[3] The window was then boarded up with plywood, and it is believed that many of Daniel’s personal belongings from the initial move-in were left behind.

Doxxing & Fanmailed Items

Lets hope he didn't use it.

Sometime in September, Daniel’s address was leaked online and shared across multiple Discord servers as well as the subreddit r/daniellarson. Following the leak, someone sent a large glass dildo to his disability housing. Daniel held the item up on camera while demanding that the unwanted deliveries stop. [4] He referred to it on his community tab as a “horse cock dildo a foot and a half long.” On September 16, Daniel claimed that Ms. P, his care provider, had purchased the item from him for $5, though the accuracy of this claim remains uncertain. [5]

Additionally, multiple unpaid pizzas were reportedly being ordered to the house daily. Daniel claimed that on one occasion, over five pizzas were delivered in a single day, and at another point, he alleged the house received more than 100 pizza deliveries within one day. [6] While plausible, it is unknown if this truly happened.[7] In his rage, Daniel damaged property throughout the house and sometimes hit himself to express his frustration with the ongoing situation.

Eviction

On October 16, 2022, a meeting was called between Ms. P, Reva, and other staff members at Daniel’s disability housing to address ongoing issues, including the repeated delivery of pizzas and sex toys to the residence and the property damage Daniel had caused. During the meeting, Daniel reportedly declared that there was "nothing to be discussed," before having a meltdown, during which he kicked holes in the walls while accusing the Shields Foundation of “blaming me for my fucking career.” Miss P subsequently called the police, expressing that she feared for her life. Daniel was issued a $1,000 citation and trespassed from the property, which further escalated his meltdown, thereby ending the Second Housing Arc.

Following his removal from the property, Daniel wandered through Denver, posting a series of videos directed at the Shields Foundation, accusing them of calling him a “bitch ass motherfucking liar.” During this meltdown, Daniel used the N-word several times and broke a window belonging either to a vehicle or nearby business. Later that night, Daniel attempted to return to the house but was unsuccessful and was subsequently arrested.[citation needed]He was released from jail the following day on a personal recognizance (PR) bond. Daniel became homeless again, resuming the Homeless Era.
