The Larson Files
"The Larson Files" is a YouTube docuseries produced and written by former manager, Flexburger. It extensively covers unknown experiences and incidents he had with Daniel throughout his time managing him. The first (and only at the time of this writing) episode aired on August, 3rd, 2025 - over a year after Daniel's federal arrest.
Initial Announcement
On July 29th, 2025, Flexburger announced the series on his Twitter page, along with a poster promoting it. The post amassed over 2,000 likes, also gaining a lot of attention from the community on Reddit. In the following days, he announced on the LarsonLeak Twitter page that the first episode would be airing at 8pm EST on August 3rd.
Just minutes before it was set to drop, Flex tweeted out that the video had been uploading to YouTube for multiple hours, but was only at 50% due to his slow internet connection. This of course frustrated him along with the people waiting for it to drop. A couple hours later at 10:30pm EST, it would finally release. The video gained over 35,000 views in the first 24 hours.

Criticism
The first episode was generally well received among close followers of Daniel. Some Reddit users even went as far to claim it was the "best video on Daniel ever made." However, the comments of the video are filled with some viewers expressing how it appeared biased in Flex's favor due to him being the one who wrote it. Some people were calling it "damage control", while others straight up bashed Flex calling him a horrible person for being involved with Daniel at all. It's important to note that Flex did provide multiple Discord screenshots and receipts of him showing concern and taking action to help Daniel in the episode.
The following day, Papa Gut reacted to it on his livestream. As the video was partially a hit piece towards him, to no surprise he got upset and doubled down on his take. He restated that he still believed it was Flex encouraging him to run across the country, and further proved his lack of knowledge by not knowing Larson was currently in federal prison, as well as stating that Michael Quinn helped fund all of Daniel's 2023 trip. He even doubled down on the statements made against him in the video about a 17 and 22 age gap in a relationship "not being a big deal." Papa showed no proof to rebuttal Flex during the stream, and still insisted that Flex had access to Daniel's financial information and was stealing money from him.
Nick Nobody, a Lolcow YouTuber and streamer who has made videos covering Daniel with over 100,000 subscribers, also reacted to it live on the same day. While he did say he found the video interesting and was looking forward to more, he did also criticize some parts for being biased and questioned the validity of others.
