2026 is the 6th year since Daniel's discovery. It is his third year of being incarcerated for federal crimes.
This year marks the second in which Daniel has been fully offline. Daniel kicked off the year being in another evaluation, still incarcerated at MCFP Springfield, and then was transferred back to FCI Englewood Colorado for a court hearing. The case finally moved forward in March after he was deemed competent, and is awaiting trial.
January

Daniel spent the first two weeks of 2026 in MCFP Springfield, before being transferred to FCI Englewood, where he was previously incarcerated, for his competency hearing. Multiple witnesses were set to testify, including Bob, but they did not.
February

Daniel began the month in FCI Englewood, and his court hearing concluded. Only two psychiatrists testified in his case, and there will be a competency ruling soon.
March
On March 3, 2026, Daniel was declared competent to stand trial.[1]
April
Daniel's trial will begin on April 20.
