Daniel Larson used to be addicted to alcohol because of his care provider was also addicted to drugs
Daniel Larson used to be addicted to alcohol because of his care provider was also addicted to drugs is a video that was posted to Daniel's YouTube channel @daniellarsontwitch9674 on August 2, 2022. It is a repost of a TikTok video that was posted on the now defunct @daniellarsontwitch.
In the video, Daniel tells a story in a motel room. He claims that "so many people" tried to "abuse" him with alcohol (also offhandedly mentioning a drug-addicted care provider in his YouTube title), causing him to become addicted to the substance. He compares this alleged problem to his taking of medication, saying that he is doing much better off now without it. The lack of a solid timeline (Daniel not being able to remember if it happened in 2016 or 2019) or any further details could lend some credence to the hypothesis that Daniel (or some third party) made the entire story up.

Hello, everyone. So, my name's Daniel Larson... [clears throat] and I- I wanna say something that I know is not really me. Um, but this is important that I get this heard.
I grew up in the foster care system... and when I was growing up, no one was teaching me right from wrong. So, on my 21st... well, 18th birthday... 21st... eh, 21st birthday, when I was able to drink alcohol... everyone was trying to get me drunk, and... because I was a singer. So many people tried to abuse me with alcohol. And I became addicted to alcohol. And that's what's- that is what really brought my life down. I don't think people know that. But that's a big part in what brought me down. That, on top of my medication for my mental health. Now that I haven't been on medication in over almost a year, six months now... I am better than I've ever been. And I've came further in life... than I've ever gotten.
So, a message to all the people out there, that are in the same situation like me: Trust yourself. Because no one else knows you better than you. Never give up. Keep your hopes high. You got this.
