On September 1, 2026, Daniel was spotted and interviewed for the first time since his release from prison. Daniel was asked eight questions, such as what prison was like and if he still aspires to be a musician. This interview also further showed the unsurprising fact that Daniel is still obsessed with Grace VanderWaal even after being incarcerated for two years. I'm doing much better now.

I can't post anything right now.
"How was prison?"
It was terrible... HELL.
"Can we expect new music soon?"
I'm working on new music, yes.
"How has life been since being released?"
Good.
"Do you plan on enrolling at UCLA again?"
Yes.
