Deletion of the Daniel Larson Wiki
On 30 January 2025, the Daniel Larson Wiki as hosted by the previous admin (real name unknown) suddenly turned up under the "404 not found" error code when searched up by Larstorians and passive observers alike. In the wider Daniel Larson community, this caused confusion, with some speculating that the bandwidth had been exceeded and as such, it went down for the time being (like in May 2024). However, editors on the Daniel Larson Wiki Discord knew better.
Background
In 2023, enabler and ween Lucas began interacting with Daniel Larson, buying him motel rooms and food alongside sexting with him and generally attempting to be both a troll and an enabler at once. This plummeted his popularity among the wider Larsonverse, and resulted in him being doxxed. Following his doxxing, he largely disappeared from the Larsonverse, and a wiki page covering him was soon started by prolific editor KanamoriKamper.
Lucas soon realized that the wiki was documenting his actions, and in August 2024 began sending vague legal threats to the old wiki admin as well as calling KanamoriKamper various slurs (both racist and transphobic). However, due to him not filing any paperwork or presenting proof of such, the wiki staff called him on his bluff, and Lucas retreated for the rest of 2024.
Lucas' involvement
Lucas upped his efforts to wipe his documentation from the internet in January 2025. He filed a motion to intervene in Werling v. Menne[1] (or the lawsuit Lil Sippy filed against Clark for defamation and libel), filed a lawsuit against KanamoriKamper[2], and reportedly also sent more concrete legal threats to the old wiki admin.
On his account's talk page, an argument raged between him and several editors, and shortly after he joined the wiki Discord to explain himself. He argued with wiki editors in several channels, denying his actions despite extensive documentation and denying Daniel Larson's well-recorded pedophilic habits.
This came to a head on 30 January 2025, as Lucas shared PDFs of his legal documents with wiki editors. While most editors dismissed this as bluffing (as several terms were misspelled and KanamorKamper's actual legal name was not on any document), the old wiki admin is presumed to have taken it seriously, as on 30 January 2025[3] the wiki was deleted in the late hours of the day.
Aftermath
Confusion raged in the Larsonverse and various non-wiki editor members tried to figure out what happened. However, on the wiki Discord, editors began discussing a solution to the problem. Discord member zzyil promptly began hosting a new wiki (where you are now) and transferred most data up to December 2024 onto it.
