By coincidence, one of the mods of the DLR discord happened to have 2 friends who were at Disney on 1/17/23. These 2 were contacted by the DLR Discord resulting in the moderators obtaining photos of the pair with Larson which were taken earlier in the day. A ticket was purchased for Dan, and the DLR discord proceeded to claim responsibility for it. To be explicit (if reports are to be believed) The two in the below image were not intending to troll Dan. Rather, they pitied him and bought him the tickets. It was only later that the DLR discord attempted to frame this as a trolling attempt. It should also be noted that the two individuals were not aware of the climate in the Daniel Larson community, the image was shared without a full understanding of what might result from claiming to have participated in a public trolling of Dan (I.e. Doxing, trolling, harassment, etc.) and it was likely shared in that context without knowledge of the two. | ||
