In 2021, Daniel gained a large following due to his intriguing, controversial, and often deranged content. Upon discovery, people sought to [[Trolls|troll]] him for amusement, due to him resembling controversial internet personalities such as [https://sonichu.com/cwcki/Christian_Weston_Chandler Chris Chan] or [[wikipedia:Terry_A._Davis|Terry A. Davis.]]  In an attempt to get Daniel to notice them, individuals often pretended to be teams of [[Management|managers]] who stroked his delusions of fame and fortune. Daniel fell for this, unsurprisingly. He would consider himself a celebrity, despite him not selling a multi-platinum album, and the glaring fact that he is a [[Homeless Era|homeless vagrant]]. Despite this, he is the creator of the smash-hit songs [[Discography|Roaring Thunder and Something More]], as well as being the mind behind several violent and/or disturbing meltdowns and [[incidents]], making him (if anything) more infamous than famous.   

In short, Daniel's story is one that is most likely fated not to have a happy ending, leaving his life as a tale of bad parenting, the effects of untreated mental illness, guilibility, narcissism, sexual deviancy, criminal activity, and, most importantly, a tale of the world slowly (or fastly, depending on how you see it) watching a man deteriorate through each and every day.  

When Daniel was a toddler, Daniel was said to have been playmates with his neighbours [[Dog Arc|dog]]. Despite this, In one of his TikToks, Daniel indicates that he murdered this dog. As he chased the dog around, it jumped over a spiked fence to which it eventually impaled itself due to not being able to jump over it in time.<ref>https://www.tiktok.com/@averagelarsonian/video/7196410748418018606</ref> While Daniel obviously was not the one who killed the animal, this small anecdote was most likely the starting point of his violent tendencies.   

In 2010, Daniel was relocated to Colorado at the age of 11 by his mother following her separation from his father who viewed Daniel as a “lost cause”.<ref>https://www.reddit.com/r/Daniellarson/comments/139sc49/comment/jj419qs/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3</ref> The decision to move was also influenced by Colorado's reputedly better mental and physical health support opposed to Californias.<ref name=":3">[[:File:Elisabeth Comment 1.png|File:Elisabeth Comment 1.png]]</ref> This was due to Daniel's severe mental health problems, as well as Elisabeth becoming wheelchair-bound after years of fighting lupus.  

Daniel's childhood was wrought with tenuous claims of neglect and ''alleged'' [[Pedophilia#Daniel's Sexual Deviance and Possible Sexual Trauma|sexual abuse]], which, if true, may have left him with childhood trauma which exacerbated his already chaotic behavior, and may have contributed to his later [[Pedophilia|pedophilic tendencies]]. A worker who has claimed ''but is unconfirmed'' to have helped him during childhood went on to say Daniel had a "history of child sexual abuse (to him and by him)"<ref>[[:File:Daniel Sexual Abuse claims.png|File:Daniel Sexual Abuse claims.png]]</ref> although what this means is unknown.  

This is evidenced by the fact that, at about age 13 to 14 (or presumably at a younger age), Daniel was taken away from his mother by the State of Colorado due to being neglected and facing alleged abuse,<ref name=":0">https://www.reddit.com/r/Daniellarson/comments/16juf15/discussing_his_childhood/</ref><ref name=":1">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PsAGVvnzbms&t=1298s</ref> which Daniel and a later news report affirm. Due to this, Daniel claims that he bounced between 10-15 foster homes. This is also evidenced by leaked documents the DDRC sent to potential fosters families/host homes. These documents warns families that Daniel, "has a history of [[7/11 incident|property damage]], [[Dog Arc|kicking animals]], [[August 29th Meltdown|self-injurious]] behaviour, and verbally threatening or [[December 10th Incident|hitting providers]] when he's upset" which corroborates claims of Daniel being extremely violent, even in childhood.   

Elisabeth has claimed that Nancy, her adopted mother and Daniel's grandmother, spread lies about her abusing her son,<ref name=":4" /> but the validity of these claims has yet to be substantiated. However, It is ''extremely'' likely that Elisabeth was unable to take care of Daniel due to being disabled and functioning solely in a wheelchair, difficulty only added by the seperation of her and his father. Because of her disability, Elisabeth went into assisted living in 2015 when Daniel was 17.   

And according to this same classmate, Daniel had a habit of running in the hallway in an attempt to evade staff. Due to this behaviour, Daniel was given a guardian that followed him around through the whole school day due to him no longer being trusted alone.<ref>[[Katie Elise]]</ref> Daniel claims that this was not because he was unable to be trusted, instead, he was followed as he had a very good relationship with his teachers.<ref>[[Spiddlekick Interview]]</ref> Considering Daniel's penchant of twisting details to make himself look more favorable, this is most likely a lie.  

Even more devistatingly, on July 24th, 2019, Nancy, Daniel's grandmother, passed away from cancer when Daniel was 21.   

Before her death, it can be assumed that Daniel was still living with her. On the day she died, Daniel was attending an special olympics event, before being informed of her death. Instead of seeing her in her last moments at the hospice center, Daniel instead chose to stay at the event to show that he was a "fighter". This event is an albeit small showing of how much respect Daniel had for his grandmother, as he could not even be bothered to see her as she died.   

Sometime in 2019, Daniel would start posting to TikTok using the account [[@daniellars20]], which he hardly used. He was also using other social media sites, such as Twitter and Instagram. It's unknown where he obtained phone from, but it is likely that he bought it himself with the income from the thrift store he worked at. His first known Twitter account is [[@DanielL26324766]], where he'd post about his experiances in the special olympics, as well as videos of himself hiking.   

Daniel, opposed to what he'd become later in his life, seemed to be more physically fit, as he was enrolled in the special olympics and went out for frequent hikes. Even more, he would frequently post the amount of steps he'd attained on his FitBit.   

Daniel made the @daniellarsonfans account in early 2020, which quickly gained a large following due to Daniel's odd looks and strange videos, like videos of him doing [[Jumping Jacks|jumping jacks]] while speaking about various topics. Daniel's first video to gain attention was called "Good night everyone," in which he stiltedly wished his fans good luck while his phone buzzes in the background.

Daniel would begin posting increasingly popular videos on his various TikTok pages in May of 2020, notably during the [[The Riots|George Floyd protests/riots]] which he believed were led by his fans. His posts quickly drew the attention of [[trolls]], who would become increasingly aggressive over time. What started off as simple annoyances, such as spamming comments, would soon turn into harassment as some trolls would start spam-calling Daniel and threatening him. However, a few trolls in particular would take advantage of Daniel's gullible nature in order to manipulate him. In early 2020, signs of Daniel being manipulated by [[Management|managers]] became quite apparent in his TikTok posts.<ref>https://www.reddit.com/r/Daniellarson/comments/pagj9q/the_daniel_larson_narrative_management_situation/</ref> One such video is of him claiming to be a model for "Southwest Models and Talent Agency."<ref>https://www.tiktok.com/@larsonater/video/7036213811392679174</ref>

Daniel would start to post some of his most well-known videos around this time, such as the infamous "[https://www.reddit.com/r/Daniellarson/comments/vdhsg9/rip_george_floyd/ Jumping Jacks for George Floyd]" video and his announcement for his [[Presidential Campaign]]. Infamous posts such as these caused Daniel to accumulate over one million followers on TikTok, prompting the creation of [[r/Daniellarson]] in October 2020. Daniel also started live streaming on TikTok live and host zoom meetings with his managers,<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=grmNl0cTaDw</ref> who would get him to post a [[Music Career|music video]] called "Fake News."

Due to his virality, Daniel began posting multiple videos daily of him doing incredibly monotonous things like eating food, as well as various videos of his [[Zoom Meetings|Zoom meetings]] with his management who did things to him, like tricking him into believing he talking to a fake Drake.<ref>https://www.tiktok.com/@fishtank_records/video/6897196546933181702</ref>

Following this brief period of heightened paranoia, Daniel's posts would return to normal. However, the leaking of his Pinterest account made certain actions of his particularly alarming, such as the instances of him duetting very young girls on TikTok.<ref>https://www.tiktok.com/@moe_lesterrecords/video/6905066197822360838</ref> Yet despite his usual posts returning, he entered a feud with (trolls impersonating) The Diligent Broadcast and Roach Records. In posts regarding the feud, he threatened to sue them for ganging up on him and faking the Pinterest account. Following many subsequent schizo-posts, Daniel would take a break from TikTok beginning on December 20, 2020, and lasting all the way up to March 2021.

In response to this, Flexburger pretended to be a man named "Josh"<ref>https://www.reddit.com/r/Daniellarson/comments/139sc49/comment/jj3mlna/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3</ref> and manipulated Daniel into [[May 6th|flashing his penis on TikTok live]] in front of 500 people, thus resulting in an immediate and permanent ban from TikTok and Flexburger being doxxed by r/Daniellarson, which surprising did not end his communications with Daniel.<ref>https://www.reddit.com/r/Daniellarson/comments/139sc49/comment/jj3laoz/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3</ref> In order to circumnavigate the ban, Daniel created many different alternate accounts, which would also get banned, with Daniel failing to establish any long-lasting accounts on TikTok at this Time. As a result, Daniel moved to YouTube and Likee.

Some time around March 11th,{{Citation Needed}} Daniel would return to TikTok, Daniel posted mostly about Grace VanderWaal. He released [[Music Career|Roaring Thunder]] on July 15, which became his most well-known song. It was around this time that The Fog started appearing in his videos.

Daniel embarked on his first distinct "[[Glossary|arc]]," known as [[The Fog|the Fog Arc]]. While there are foggy videos from all the way in November of 2020,<ref>https://www.tiktok.com/@daniellarsonfueckme/video/6895224419585740037</ref> the fog would begin appearing regularly in his videos, reaching its apex around July. Following the instructions of his management, he covered his camera with tape, resulting in a hazy, fog-like visual effect over his recordings for several months. This arc coincided the peak of [https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/the-fog-is-coming "the Fog" meme], which was a meme warned viewers of an ominous, Lovecraftian fog. Many comments on Daniel's videos referenced this meme, with phrases such as "The fog is coming." It's probable that Daniel didn't fully grasp the meaning behind these comments.

Daniel, after getting arrested for [[Criminal History#Criminal Mischief|criminal mischief]], got into a conflict with his case manager [[Andrew]], and as a result, would start to blame him for anything and everything that went wrong in Daniel's life. He began to have a large amount of micro-meltdowns over him where he, as usual, hit himself and said slurs, claiming that Andrew stole money, damaged his career, and leaked a photo of him jerking off completely nude in a public bathroom.   

Daniel, after the end of the Andrew conflict, started showing up to [[Roe v. Wade Reversal Protest|Roe v. Wade protests]]. On the 27th of June, he would attend an open mic where he told his life story, how he exposed himself on TikTok, his obsession with Grace VanderWaal, and that his grandmother died of cancer because of his autism. This incident would get his name out to many Roe v. Wade protestors and people online, resulting in him getting recognized by multiple people at [[Daniel Gets Mobbed|another Roe v. Wade reversal protest]].  

Subsequently, an incident known as the [[The Toothbrush Incident|Toothbrush Incident]] occurred, involving a leaked video of Daniel engaging in unconventional behavior. This led to the [[July 2022 Electronic Destruction Spree]], marked by the smashing of headsets and electronic devices. In a sequence of events, he replaced his items only to destroy them again, including a Spiderman-branded headset intended for children.

 

On July 25th, Grace's mom, Tina, reached out to him on Facebook Messenger:<blockquote>"Stop saying my daughters name. Stop saying you are in a relationship with her. You are scaring her and our family. Everything you have said and done has been in your own mind. You need to access some mental health support and stop harassing my daughter. I have contacted the authorities and will continue to press the issue of [sic] you don't stop making disturbing videos. You [sic] followers have harassed my daughter long enough. STOP"</blockquote>She would then later comment on one of his posts:<blockquote>"God Daniel….. do you think I’m watching your lives? whoever just contacted you claiming to be me was not me. I have no idea who Ox even is. I don’t want you to talk about Grace or our family anymore. I have only replied to you once when you DM’d me a couple of weeks ago - then I told you to stop saying Grace’s name but clearly you refuse to listen. Stop all of this. Everyone [who is] communicating with you are trolls trying to get you to do crazy things. Please STOP."

 

"I do mind. Stop everything to do with our family ESPECIALLY my daughter. You are making me reply publicly so you can’t censor what I’m actually saying to you. I’ve spoken to DDRC as well as the Denver police and Denver FBI. Do you really want to continue this? Again, just stop. Your reality is not real."</blockquote>Daniel, after a break in posting, would reveal his new manager and enabler, [[Ox]]. After firing him almost immediately, Ox, for an alleged change, would positively influence Daniel; he would get Daniel an ID, and made Daniel apologize for saying the N-word. He would then stop this string of good influence by convincing Daniel that there was a [[Nuclear Attack|nuclear attack]] on livestream for money, which would get Ox fired and reported to the police, and Daniel's Twitch account banned.

===Trench Foot Arc===

Daniel would be hospitalized for trench foot at the beginning of August 2022.

On [[December 10th Incident|December 10]], Daniel had a meltdown that escalated into a physical altercation with Bob. This resulted in Daniel being immediately flown out of Denver by Bob. Daniel became homeless in Los Angeles, California.

The Los Angeles arc would continue through early 2023.

Going into 2024, Daniel would continue his escapades completely unimpeded by him being arrested. After getting [[January 5th Incident|chased around by trolls]], he would get [[Denver International Airport Arrest|arrested at an airport]] for his multiple active warrants and would be instantly released on a PR bond. The terms of his PR bond required him to progressively pay off his bond and show up to al of his court hearings. He would do neither and narrowly evaded justice on a multitude of occasions. He had the police called on him multiple times, such as when he got [[Fart Spray Incident|chased around]] by trolls again and got [[January 26 Hospital Incident|kicked out of a hospital]], but would not be arrested. He would also [[College Arc#Perseverance|enter into college again]] for a short period of time during the end of the Mohawk Arc.

''See also: [[Jail Arc]], and'' ''[[Timeline (2024, first quarter)]]''{{Ongoing|small=left}}Daniel was arrested on February 3, 2024 for being a fugitive of justice after failing to appear in court. His bond was set at $20,000, which was later lowered to $5,000 with a $500 cash option.

==The End==

His [[family]] life is tumultuous. His father was absent and his mother was neglectful to the point that Daniel was removed from her custody. It should be noted that Daniel's mother had lupus and may have been physically incapable of caring for Daniel. His grandmother, while being the most qualified to care for Daniel, was not capable of providing the proper care for somebody with as many mental disabilities as he had. His two stepsisters are unknown, and his two biological siblings passed away almost immediately after birth. He has had numerous caretakers, either voluntarily or assigned by the state. Following his grandmother's death in 2019, Bob Proctor has been Daniel's on-again off-again caretaker.

Daniel calls himself “famous” and a celebrity, displaying a clear delusion of ''grandeur''. Despite considering himself to be a world-famous, instantly recognizable music star, to the likes of Michael Jackson or Taylor Swift, Daniel is not a mainstream celebrity by any means; he is more properly described as a lolcow, niche internet celebrity, local menace to society, or even a nobody, depending on who you ask. His delusion is only fueled by fans who recognize and sometimes even meet up with him in public. On some occasions Daniel has even stated that he will be charging fans to take pictures, and genuinely gets angry when they do not comply.
