Daniel Robert Larson was born on November 15, 1998 in [[wikipedia:Lancaster,_California|Lancaster, California,]] to parents [[Elisabeth Shimer|Elisabeth Lee Shimer]] and [[Travis Larson|James Travis Larson]]. His parents were fairly young at the time of his birth; his mother being 22, and his father only 20. Observing Daniel’s facial features, including a thin, flat upper lip and small eye openings, it has been speculated that Daniel may suffer from fetal alcohol syndrome.<ref>https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/15677-fetal-alcohol-syndrome</ref> However, this cannot be proven, and furthermore, it is way more likely that [[Daniel and health|genetic disorders]] from Daniels parents passed onto him.  

When Daniel was a toddler, he was said to have been playmates with his neighbor's [[Dog Arc|dog]]. In one of his TikTok videos, Daniel describes himself as a “animal murderer,” describing how the dog impaled itself on a spiked fence while the two were playing.<ref>https://www.tiktok.com/@averagelarsonian/video/7196410748418018606</ref> While Daniel was obviously not the one who killed the animal, this can be thought of as a starting point for his violent tendencies which would begin to worsen as he matured.    

In Daniel's childhood, he went camping. During this trip, he felt something large brush his leg. Daniel believed this to be Bigfoot. This belief stuck with him, even into adulthood.<ref>[[UCLA Arc]]</ref><gallery>

According to his mother, Daniel, even from a young age, displayed severe signs of [[Daniel and Mental Health|mental disabilities]] such as autism, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia.<ref name=":4">[[:File:Elisabeth Final Comment.png|File:Elisabeth Final Comment.png]]</ref> This may be because his mother, and possibly his father, may be mentally challenged to some extent, and those diseases passed onto their son.
