The '''Homeless Era,''' obvious from its name, was a prolonged period of time where [[Daniel|Daniel Larson]] '''was homeless,''' lasting approximately '''796 days''', making this the longest time period in the Larsonverse. Spanning from from approximately December 13, 2021 to April 30, 2024, with a break between August to October of 2022, the Homeless Era lasted approximately '''2 1/2 years.''' There have been two homeless arcs, with temporary breaks when Daniel rents motels or is put into state-subsidized housing.   

The Homeless Era began after Daniel ran away from his caretaker, [[Jonas]], sometime around the end of 2021, ending the [[First Housing Arc|Hype House Arc]].{{Footnote|text=The exact date of this is unclear, but it can be assumed that Daniel ran away around the end of 2021, due to Daniel being definitely homeless during the Headset Arc, which happened during early 2022.}} This event marked the end of the [[Classic Era]], and the true start of why Daniel Larson became the infamous figure many know him as today. Daniel was homeless for approximately eight months before he briefly [[Second Housing Arc|received housing]] with the [[Shields Foundation]] in August 2022, but was evicted following [[Miss P|an altercation with his care providers]] on October 16th, 2022, which arose due to his extremely violent outbursts towards them.  

Throughout the Homeless Era, Daniel faced several challenges, such as frequent illness, somehow contracting trench foot, getting into several altercations, and being arrested several times. He briefly adopted a dog which was taken away, and slept in an elevator with several homeless drug addicts. Additionally, he was [[List of places that have banned Daniel|banned from several services]], and his mental health declined significantly compared to the start of the era. Despite trying to look for an apartment, or other forms of long-term housing, Daniel ultimately failed due to his irresponsibility with money, as well as other factors.     

In 2024, Daniel faced multiple arrests. He was temporarily institutionalized during the [[Jail Arc]], along with [[Daniel and the Law|several other arrests.]] Despite these two breaks from homelessness, Daniel was intermittently homeless throughout the era, ultimately spending, nearly a month and a half in jail when combined. However, this arc came to a permanent stop on April 30, 2024, when Daniel was [[Jail Arc 2|arrested by the FBI]] for on several federal charges for making threats against government agencies, thereby ending the Homeless Era after almost two and a half years.
