The year kicked off with Daniel fleeing the [[Hype House Arc]] due to alleged abuse by Jonas and moving into an assisted-living apartment. Within two weeks of the year, he was evicted, marking the end of the [[Classic Era]] and the start of the [[Homeless Era]]. His mental health visibly declined. After a brief stint of housing in two different homes, both ending in eviction, Daniel returned to the streets. He began filming erratic content, including crying in bathroom stalls, punching himself in the genitals, and having a [[Lost Phone Meltdown|meltdown after losing his phone]]. He argued with a homeowner [[Porch Charging Incident|while trying to charge his phone on their porch]] and somehow ran a marathon. That summer, Daniel began living in hotel rooms, streaming on Twitch, and was diagnosed with trench foot. The infamous [[The Toothbrush Incident|Toothbrush Incident]] also leaked during this time. After four months of homelessness, he secured housing through the [[Second Housing Arc|Shields Foundation]] but was evicted again less than two months later following a [[October 16th Incident|destructive meltdown]]. The year ended with a [[December 10th Incident|violent meltdown]] in Bob's car after Daniel claimed a motel had threatened to kill him, prompting his flight to Los Angeles and the beginning of the Travel Arc.
