Before the incident took place, a recording<ref>[https://www.reddit.com/user/Puzzleheaded-Yak8588/ recording]</ref> of a couple of teenagers surfaced on the r/Daniellarson subreddit where they chased around Daniel in, what appears to be, the same store seemingly minutes before the Bodega Incident occurred.
The [[Sightings and Fan Interactions|fans]] asked Daniel a couple of questions, such as if he smoked crack and knew who they were.
Not only that, but Daniel can be seen talking about harassment to the employee he punched in the video, making the previous fan interaction a probable major influence behind Daniel's poor behavior and him being kicked out.
The video itself is also worrying, with Daniel talking about an unspecified "security" force.
