Plot armor is a term used in fiction, in which a main character manages to survive certain death or other forms of harm so the story can continue.
Plot armor is a term used in fiction to describe the overly convenient invulnerability of a character, usually the protagonist, that is needed for a story to continue.

Daniel having real-life plot armor was actually plausible for a time, because he somehow managed to survive through unfavorable circumstances or avoided any repercussions. It is a common discussion topic in the community because the amount of times Daniel managed to do this was actually impressive.
Prior to his 2024 arrest and subsequent incarceration on seven charges of making threats against government sites and officials in his numerous meltdowns, Daniel had seemingly avoided any serious or long-lasting consequences for his misdeeds and crimes, such as assaulting his elderly mentor and disabled mother, defrauding multiple businesses, indecently exposing himself in public spaces, and his numerous instances of tresspassing.

Daniel's plot armor, however, eventually broke with his arrest by the FBI on serious charges. We may never get content from Daniel again, as it appears his story has been told.
ime and again, the Larsonian community had watched Daniel incriminate himself multiple times by filming his wrongdoings and posting or streaming them online for all the world to see; the most that would happen would Daniel being held in jail for, at most, a few weeks, or simply being given a slap-on-the-wrist. This became one of the more infamous parts of Daniel's presence, both in real life and online, as Daniel seemed, for a substantial stretch of time, to be above the law, or at least immune to it's more concrete punishments.

Many saw that the FBI holding off on arresting Daniel was responsible for the illusion of the plot armor to many, though this has not been fully proven.
