Rectus Abdominus is a comedy rock (self-described as whimsicore, sillycore, and tardcore) band created in 2017, known for the song Roblox Dad Plug, and making emo covers of Daniel Larson's songs in 2023, that being [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTE8mWpNu7I Roaring Thunder] and [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IhW9GaDgMoE Something More], as well as being one of the first groups of people to try and recruit Daniel as a member of a record label.

In the wake of the [[Dog Arc]], they put out a statement regarding how they chose to no longer associate with Daniel. However, since this statement was put out, they've used with various soundbytes of other lolcows, including Daniel and [[Joshua Block]], in some of their discography.   
 
As of July 2023, they no longer wish to associate with Daniel and his music although they have used various soundbytes of other lolcows including Daniel and [[Joshua Block]] on some of their future discography.   


Roaring Thunder and Something More have remained as their more well-known covers even after their announcement of cutting ties with Daniel.
