There is reason to believe that Daniel is aware that Andrew is not actually responsible for all the things he blames him for. This is evidenced by Daniel claiming that he spoke over the phone with Andrew who said something a long the lines of ‘you don’t need to go to court, regardless of what the warrants say’. This, to many, was clear evidence that Daniel purposely used Andrew as a catch-all for any problem in his life at the time. There is no possibility that Andrew, a state employee, told Daniel not to appear in court. Instead, Daniel saw an opportunity to avoid going to court (and avoid any further “failure to appear” fines) by baselessly claiming that his disability case manager said he didn’t need to go.
