There is scant information regarding Daniel's early childhood. However, it is known that at about age 11, Daniel's grandmother [[Nancy Shimer]] became his legal guardian due to his neglectful upbringing thus far. Despite her kinder treatment of Daniel, Nancy was known to be enabling of his bad habits. Daniel's father claimed that in response to Daniel painting on his grandmother's walls, rather than punishing him, she instead opted to give him M&Ms. Nancy would enroll Daniel in the [[Tennyson Center|Tennyson Center for Children]], a center for rehabilitating and assisting children with intellectual disabilities.  

At the Tennyson Center, Daniel met [[Bob Proctor]] and was [[Daniel Larson's health|diagnosed with ADHD, autism, bipolar disorder, and an intellectual disability]]. There is speculation that Daniel has more mental disabilities, as Daniel's father has said that Daniel has a "...laundry list," of mental issues.^{[Citation Needed]} It is possible that his neglectful upbringing left him with childhood trauma which exacerbates his already chaotic behavior. There also appear to be signs of fetal alcohol syndrome, meaning his mother likely consumed alcohol during her pregnancy.^{[Citation Needed]}  

In late 2019, Daniel would start using social media, creating the account [[Social Media Accounts|@daniellars20]] on [[TikTok]], however, this account was hardly used. He then made the @daniellarsonfans account in early 2020, which quickly gained a large following due to Daniel's odd looks and behavior. Daniel's first video to gain attention was called "Good night everyone," in which he stiltedly wished his fans good luck while his phone buzzes in the background.

Daniel would begin posting increasingly popular videos on his various TikTok pages in May of 2020, notably during the George Floyd protests/riots which he believed were led by his fans. His posts quickly drew the attention of trolls, who would become increasingly aggressive in their methods over time. What started off as simple annoyances, such as spamming comments, would soon turn into harassment as some trolls would go as far as to call Daniel's cell phone. However, a few trolls in particular would take advantage of Daniel's gullible nature in order to manipulate him. In early 2020, signs of Daniel being manipulated by [[Management|managers]] became quite apparent in his TikTok posts. One such video is of him claiming to be a model for "Southwest Models and Talent Agency."<ref>https://www.tiktok.com/@larsonater/video/7036213811392679174</ref>

Daniel would start to post some of his most well-known videos around this time, such as the infamous "Jumping Jacks for George Floyd" video and his announcement for his [[Presidential Campaign]]. Iconic posts such as these caused Daniel to accumulate over one million followers on TikTok, prompting the creation of [[r/Daniellarson]] in October 2020. Daniel also started live streaming on TikTok live and host zoom meetings with his managers,<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=grmNl0cTaDw</ref> who would get him to post a music video called "Fake News."

Following this brief period of heightened paranoia, Daniel's posts would return to normal. However, the leaking of his Pinterest account made certain actions of his particularly alarming, such as the instances of him duetting very young girls on TikTok.<ref>https://www.tiktok.com/@moe_lesterrecords/video/6905066197822360838</ref> Yet despite his usual posts returning, he entered a feud with (trolls impersonating) The Diligent Broadcast and Roach Records. In posts regarding the feud, he threatened to sue them for ganging up on him and faking the Pinterest account. Following many subsequent schizo-posts, Daniel would take a break from TikTok beginning on December 20, 2020, and lasting all the way up to March 2021.

After returning to social media in March 2021, Daniel immediately [[Flexburger|declared war on Flexburger]] after discovering that he had been the one who leaked his Pinterest account. In response to this, Flexburger manipulated Daniel into [[May 6th|flashing his penis on TikTok live]] in front of 500 people, thus resulting in an immediate and permanent ban from TikTok. in order to circumnavigate the ban, Daniel created many different alternate accounts, however, these too would often get banned. Daniel moved to YouTube and Likee, however he did not give up on his TikTok career.

Flexburger was already an enemy of r/Daniellarson. Eventually, Flexburger was doxxed and ceased communications with Daniel.

After returning to TikTok later that year, Daniel posted mostly about Grace VanderWaal. He released [[Music Career|Roaring Thunder]] on July 15, which became his most well-known song. It was around this time that The Fog started appearing in his videos.

Daniel took the midnight train to California on August 20, 2021, in a failed attempt to meet his father, [[Travis Larson]], who in fact was a troll impersonating him. As a result of his unannounced departure, Daniel was dropped from his disability program, thus leaving him almost entirely dependent upon Bob and the kindness of strangers. Some highlights of Daniel's brief stay in California include threatening Grace VanderWaal's boyfriend, shaving himself a mohawk, and accidentally ending up in Emeryville instead of Los Angeles.

One video was posted around that same time in which Daniel, Jonas, and [[Gavin]] had a verbal altercation. This video was the first of many such posts.^{[Citation Needed]} Around late 2021 to early 2022, it became quite common for Daniel to interact with trolls posing as either Grace VanderWaal or Jojo Siwa. Oftentimes these <s>trolls</s> weens had such an influence on Daniel that he would fulfill requests on their behalf, even if the requests were degrading or incriminating.  

Cutting ties with his case manager meant that Daniel had lost his last professional source of mental healthcare, which caused him to further succumb to the influences of his management and manipulators. 2022 had a rough start for Daniel; he would record videos of him humping his camera for Grace and take out his anger on inanimate objects when he was upset. His behavior was so bad that his then-manager, [[Bianka]], quit for fear of mistreatment.

Daniel, after the end of the Andrew conflict, started showing up to [[Roe v. Wade Reversal Protest|Roe v. Wade protests]]. On the 27th of June, he would attend an open mic where he told his life story, how he exposed himself on TikTok, his obsession with Grace VanderWaal, and that his grandmother died of cancer because of his autism. This incident would get his name out to many Roe v. Wade protestors and people online, resulting in him getting recognized by multiple people at [[Daniel Gets Mobbed|another Roe v. Wade reversal protest]].  

Daniel would be hospitalized for trench foot at the beginning of August 2022.

Daniel arrived in Las Vegas on February 13, 2023. He would go on to be kicked out of multiple Vegas casinos, as the security there was unsurprisingly much more competent than in other cities. Contact would be lost with Daniel just a few days after his arrival, on February 16. He would not post for a few days; however, fans would spot him walking in the streets of Las Vegas anyway. On February 23, Daniel would make a sudden return to TikTok, detailing an incident where he was assaulted by "fans" and had his phone taken during the altercation, resulting in a fractured skull. He also stated he was receiving support and accommodation from a sober living home based in Nevada.

On May 8, Daniel met with Michael Quinn over lunch, and on May 10, he finally met with World Of T-Shirts. In the following days, Daniel would proceed to get a citation for trespassing, as well as having a meltdown from missing his bus to Orlando. He was also fooled into thinking that Justin Bieber had paid for a trip to Disney World.

The Travel Arc would finally end as Daniel left New York, returning to Denver on May 20. On May 25, the infamous "[[Häagen-Dazs Incident|Haagen-Dazs Incident]]" would occur, where Daniel would be kicked out of said ice cream shop due to an altercation with employees, as well as a meltdown following shortly after.

Following this, just two days later another incident would occur on August 31. The incident involved a physical altercation between Daniel and Bob Proctor inside Bob's car. The argument started over Bob's request for Daniel to stop using his phone while with him, leading to escalating tensions. Daniel filmed the encounter, citing personal safety as his reason. Bob demanded Daniel put away the phone, but Daniel refused, leading to a confrontation where Bob yelled at Daniel to leave the car. When Daniel refused, the situation escalated further, resulting in a physical altercation, with Daniel claiming Bob ran him over while Bob demanded Daniel get out of the car. Daniel would post a video showing aggressiveness toward Bob, followed by a meltdown at a motel where he punched walls and expressed fear of Bob, alleging Bob's actions violated his rights.

On October 23, 2023, some "fans" would give Daniel a haircut. However, these were actually trolls who partially cut Daniel's hair in what was immediately dubbed a "Reverse Mohawk" and abandoned him before finishing the haircut as they claimed their car had been stolen. This left Daniel looking more unstable than ever, with the unfortunate coincidence that he had a court date the following week. Unsurprisingly, Daniel did not fix his hair, and on October 31, Daniel would receive a six-month probation in court.  

Still with the reverse mohawk, Daniel would have a meltdown inside a Panera Bread on November 10, seemingly because his fans were "leaking his location" leading to him aggressively punching himself as well as exclaiming self-harm threats, racial slurs, and psychotic screams.  

On November 30, Daniel would go back to court and be sentenced to 12-month probation, 48 hours of community service, be fined, and be subject to anger management classes from the Boulder CU arrest.  

The Reverse Mohawk arc would end once Daniel's hair grew back out. In early December 2023, there would be severe community backlash towards new management, as there was a noticeable lack of trolling. However, towards the end of the month, Daniel would be constantly kicked out of businesses in Colorado.  

Daniel, on multiple occasions, has been accused of being a pedophile. Strong evidence came about through the content leaks of his [[Quora]] and [[Daniel's pinterest account|Pinterest]] accounts. In any case, Daniel has admitted to being a pedophile multiple times.

Daniel had untreated scabies while in Los Angeles, while wearing the same clothes, not taking showers, and sleeping in porta-potties at night. What really made this controversial was the fact that he did not seek treatment for the scabies, and would even go to Disneyland with this highly spreadable disease. The symptoms would eventually reach a point to where Daniel was forced to seek medical attention, and the symptoms would die down.
