On November 20, 2020, a Pinterest account, which dated back to  belonging to Daniel was leaked by [[Flexburger]]. This leak would be one of many instances which showed Daniel's alleged [[pedophilia]]. [[Pinterest|The account]] had albums filled with images of children, maps of the United States which listed the age of consent for each state, and photos of his various underage celebrity crushes. Daniel posted his first apology/confession hours later, in which he admitted that he had used the, "...pictures of girls and masturbate[d] to them... a long time ago." Following the instructions of his management, he covered his camera with tape, resulting in a hazy, fog-like visual effect over his recordings for several months. During this period, he shared various videos featuring this unique visual style.
