The '''College Arc''' (also known as the '''First College Arc''') refers to a time period in early September 2023 where Daniel believed himself to be enrolled in college. The belief began after he attended a frat party on the grounds of the [https://www.colorado.edu/ University of Colorado Boulder] through a fake student ID given by a student at the university.  

On September 10, 2023, [[Daniel Larson|Daniel]] claimed that he would be enrolling in CU Boulder.<ref>https://archive.org/details/y-2mate.is-i-might-be-getting-a-scholarship-to-cu-boulder-university-2024-t-8-me</ref>  In the days after this claim, Daniel posted several [[:File:Screenshot 2023-09-12.jpg|community posts regarding his enrollment process]], claiming to have received a scholarship and a roommate. On September 12, he hosted a livestream in which he pondered what he would major in. <ref>https://archive.org/details/y-2mate.is-daniel-larson-on-his-way-to-study-for-college-zf-pvw-xljgb-8-720p-1694639957</ref> Although Daniel claimed to have officially enrolled in CU Boulder, in reality he was just wandering the campus livestreaming and attending parties. Phi Kappa Tau, a fraternity of CU Boulder, had become "friends" with Daniel. This false friendship served to fuel his delusions that he was a student at the college. Daniel's various interactions with them at frat parties would begin to be posted to his TikTok and YouTube channel.
