The Headset Arc, which began in March 2021 after the end of the first "dark age," was characterized by Daniel's noticeable choice to wear an oversized blue gaming headset in public.
This arc produced many quotable videos, with Daniel often discussing accusations and allegations made against him—typically by Flexburger —while urging viewers not to believe them and to "stay tuned." The headset's microphone, being sensitive to wind and not intended for outdoor use, resulted in poor audio quality in his videos.
The Headset Arc concluded on July 7, 2021. Since then, Daniel has been seen wearing various other headphones, though they typically do not last long before being destroyed.

May 6 concert
On May 6, 2021, Daniel had a "concert" for the BET Awards (literally pronounced bet awards by Daniel) on TikTok LIVE. The stream was also uploaded to YouTube. As expected, the concert did not feature Daniel singing his own music, but instead included him playing or singing songs by artists like The Chainsmokers, Dustin Lynch, and Bruno Mars—all while wearing the iconic headset and walking outside. The livestream was interrupted by multiple phone calls, leading to an early end.

"The Accusations"
Daniel claimed that he made videos admitting to the accusations in an effort to clear his name. He also mentions several actual and fictitious record labels, including "Interscope", "Party House Records", "Roach Records", and "Fame House Records". While some of these names belong to legitimate record labels, it is highly unlikely that Daniel has had any actual contact with them.

Hello everyone. This is Daniel Larson. The allegations right now against me are fake. Please do not believe them. There is this person that is claiming to be me, he is using a phone number claiming that phone number is mine. Affortunately it is not my phone number, the only phone number I have is the one I'm using right now, which is [redacted]. That is the only number I have. Interscope Records is working on everything, trying to clear everything.

Spider-Man headphones
Starting in May 2023, Daniel began wearing reasonably sized Spider-Man-branded headphones designed for children. These low-quality headphones lacked a microphone, making most of his videos extremely quiet and difficult to hear. They were eventually smashed during the May 17th Incident. Additionally, Daniel was seen throwing a different pair of headphones into the Hudson River during the same event.

In 2021, Daniel once wore what looks to be triangle-shaped headphones. The video was posted to @proffesionaldaniellarson.
Found headphones
On June 14, 2022, Daniel destroyed a pair of headphones, seemingly in a fit of rage against Andrew. A r/Daniellarson user then found them on the side of a Colorado highway.[3] It should probably be noted that these are clearly not the original headphones from the headset arc.
