2022 was the 2nd year since Daniel's discovery and the first year of his homelessness.

The year kicked off with Daniel fleeing the Hype House Arc due to alleged abuse by Jonas and moving into an assisted-living apartment. Within two weeks of the year, he was evicted, marking the end of the Classic Era and the start of the Homeless Era. His mental health visibly declined. After a brief stint of housing in two different homes, both ending in eviction, Daniel returned to the streets. He began filming erratic content, including crying in bathroom stalls, punching himself in the genitals, and having a meltdown after losing his phone. He argued with a homeowner while trying to charge his phone on their porch and somehow ran a marathon. That summer, Daniel began living in hotel rooms, streaming on Twitch, and was diagnosed with trench foot. The infamous Toothbrush Incident also leaked during this time. After four months of homelessness, he secured housing through the Shields Foundation but was evicted again less than two months later following a destructive meltdown. The year ended with a violent meltdown in Bob's car after Daniel claimed a motel had threatened to kill him, prompting his flight to Los Angeles and the beginning of the Travel Arc.

Daniel began 2022 living in his assisted-living apartment, having fled the Hype House the previous month. However, tensions quickly escalated as he entered a feud with a user known as "Anti Chloe" and threatened to break down his wall due to a neighboring resident playing loud music. These outbursts led to his eviction just days into the new year, effectively ending the Classic Era and initiating the Homeless Era. Now living on the streets, Daniel’s content became increasingly erratic. He infamously filmed a man asleep in a movie theater, referring to him as “Sleepy Joe,” and performed at a karaoke bar, which he declared a legitimate concert.

Daniel spent the first ten days of the month homeless, continuing to post content. However, around the 10th, he managed to secure disability housing. He appeared to have a positive relationship with his new care provider, often playing lighthearted pranks on her, suggesting a brief improvement in his day-to-day life and interactions.

Daniel remained in housing but moved to a new house with a blue bedroom. Fans sent him gifts, including a melodica. However, tensions grew with his new care provider, leading to frequent meltdowns during which Daniel hit himself or alleged abuse from the provider. During this time, he was also seen filming himself crying in bathroom stalls and shared the now-infamous “I’m not feeling well” photo on Reddit. He also filmed videos of himself humping objects for Grace, and even shot a video of himself having an orgasm while saying her name.

Daniel was still in housing but was evicted toward the end of the month for unknown reasons, returning to homelessness. On the streets, his content grew increasingly unstable, highlighted by a meltdown after losing his phone after throwing it in the dark, trying to find it. Throughout the month, Daniel posted multiple videos of himself having meltdowns directed toward Andrew, accusing him of ruining his life and stealing his money. Wade protest and took the stage at an open mic, where he shared his life story, including the May 6th Incident and his obsession with Grace. The following day, he was mobbed by fans and later met up with Briiink.

Daniel started the month with a meltdown over Quacko and released the video “Something More” the same day. With help from Briiiink and Ox and donations received after creating a Twitch account, he began renting hotel rooms and finding places to sleep. The Toothbrush Incident was leaked, leading to Daniel also going on a destructive spree, breaking over $1,000 worth of electronic devices, often replacing items only to break them again. Meanwhile, Grace’s mother, Tina, firmly told Daniel to stop harassing Grace and making false claims of a relationship, to which Daniel responded by threatening suicide for sympathy.

Daniel’s Twitch account was banned following a fake nuclear attack prank, which triggered a strong reaction from him. During the month, he was diagnosed with trench foot and began collaborating with the Developmental Disabilities Resource Center (DDRC) to secure housing. Meanwhile, Grace’s mother, Tina, left another frustrated comment on Daniel’s YouTube, demanding he stop mentioning Grace—a request Daniel ignored. By the end of the month, Daniel successfully secured housing through the Shields Foundation.

After his address was leaked, trolls began harassing him by sending multiple pizzas daily and bizarre packages, including a glass dildo. During this time, Daniel’s behavior escalated as he punched holes in the walls and broke a large window in his room.

Daniel’s turbulent housing situation continued as he broke a window twice, leading to it being boarded up. A meeting was held to address the persistent unwanted deliveries, but Daniel had a major meltdown and was evicted. Homeless once again, he was arrested after attempting to return to the house. “Fans” then drove him to Colorado Springs, where multiple arguments led to him being abandoned at a Walgreens. He gradually made his way back to Denver. During this time, Daniel met Ox in person, and the two shared meals and visited a casino together.

Daniel’s homelessness persisted throughout the month, marked by multiple incidents including being banned from an IHOP after attempting to sleep in their restrooms. He also misinterpreted a 21-gun salute as a shooting and frequently dined and dashed. Trolls often discovered his location and called the establishments repeatedly, leading to him being kicked out many times.

Daniel started the month by losing all his money at a casino. Later on, he had a meltdown in Bob’s car where he claimed a motel had threatened to kill him and physically attacked Bob. Police were called, and that same day Bob secured Daniel a travel ticket to California, kicking off the Travel Arc. He stayed on the streets in California into the new year, and also got into an argument with a taxi driver after trying to pay the fare with Medicaid.
