Second Housing Arc

The Second Housing Arc was an arc spanning August 31st, 2022 to October 16th, 2022. The arc started after Daniel reached out to the Shields Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping those with disabilities attain housing and gain other skills, who eventually set him up with housing. The arc marked what people thought was the conclusion of the first Homeless Era.

The house was run by a woman named Ms. P, and his case manager during this time was Reva.

Not long after moving to the house, its address would be posted online, and several items, namely sex toys and pizza, would be delivered. In response to this, Daniel would have multiple meltdowns where he would be seen putting his holes in the wall, and additionally hitting himself. Due to this, a meeting would be held with Daniel on October 16th, 2022, to discuss how to deal with the situation. Eventually, this culminated in Daniel having to be removed from the house by authorities due to the meltdown he had during this event.

As of August 2024, this was the final time that Daniel had access to organized housing.

Background

Prior to the beginning of this arc, Daniel had been homeless for over 6 months after running away from Jonas' house in March 2022. This event marked the end of the Classic Era, beginning of the Homeless Era. The catalyst for this event was Daniel having frequent altercations with the caretakers, as well as his housemates. This resulted in the police being called multiple times. In addition to this, Daniel was in frequent contact with trolls who stroked his delusions of fame and fortune. Convinced that his caretakers were holding him back, he ran away from his disability housing. After this, Daniel almost completely relied on fan donations to assist him. He also committed several crimes while homeless. However, for a time, Daniel received support by his manager Ox, who set up a Twitch channel for him, and frequently provided him with motel accommodations.

During this time, Daniel (and presumably Ox) coordinated a new housing arrangement with his case manager Reva, and moved-in to state-subsidized housing ran by the Shields Foundation on August 31, 2022.

After being placed in housing through the Shields Foundation, Daniel moved into a house run by a woman named Ms. P. He claimed to be the sole client living in the home alongside care providers, where he had a large bedroom with new furniture and his personal belongings.^{[citation needed]} His belongings consisted of board games, books, magazines, and the various things fans would send to the house, including a large toothbrush and several sex toys. Despite the generous and relatively comfortable accommodations, Daniel began alleging that his care providers were abusive due to them confiscating his phone.^{[citation needed]}

Time in Ms. P's House

Daniel’s transition into his new disability housing was turbulent. On September 1, during his first night at the house, Ox attempted to order him a pizza, but it was mistakenly delivered to Daniel’s previous address. This led to a meltdown in which Daniel posted numerous videos on YouTube angrily criticizing Ox and described the situation by stating, “I am living in hell.”

Property Damage (9/2)

Within two days of moving in, Daniel had caused significant property damage during a series of meltdowns, including putting several holes in the walls and breaking a large window. According to Daniel, he claimed the holes were “caused” by trolls. Later, he reportedly destroyed much of the bedroom, tearing out sections of the wall and breaking the same window a second time after it had been replaced. The window was subsequently boarded up with plywood, and it is believed that many of Daniel's personal belongings from the initial move-in were left behind.

Doxxing, and Eventual Kickout

Lets hope he didn't use it.

Sometime in September, Daniel's address was leaked online and circulated in multiple Discord servers as well as on the subreddit r/daniellarson. After the address leak, someone sent Daniel a large glass dildo to his disability housing, which he held up on camera while emphatically demanding that the deliveries stop. Daniel dubbed this item as a, "horse cock dildo a foot in a half long" on his community tab. On September 16, Daniel claimed that Ms. P, his care provider, purchased it from him for $5, though the accuracy of this claim is uncertain.

Additionally, several unpaid pizzas were being ordered to the house daily, with Daniel claiming that over 5 pizzas were ordered to his house within one day. Daniel also claimed that the house received over 100 pizza deliveries in one day. While plausible, it is unknown if this truly happened. In his rage, Daniel would cause property damage around the house, hitting himself to voice his frustration with the situation.

As a result of the disturbances, on October 16, 2022, a meeting was called between Ms. P, Reva, and the other staff in Daniel's disability housing. The meeting aimed to address the repeated delivery of pizzas and sex toys to the residence, as well as the property damage Daniel had caused. In response, Daniel reportedly stated that there was "nothing to be discussed," and, during a meltdown, kicked holes in the wall while accusing the Shields Foundation of “blaming me for my fucking career.” Miss P subsequently called the police and Daniel was issued a $1,000 citation. Miss P told police that she feared for her life, and Daniel was trespassed from the property, resulting in an escalation of his meltdown.

Following his removal from the property, Daniel wandered through Denver while posting a series of videos directed at the Shields Foundation, in which he accused them of calling him a "bitch ass motherfucking liar." During this meltdown, Daniel used the N-word several times and broke a window belonging either to a vehicle or nearby business. Later that night, Daniel tried to return to the house, but was unsuccessful and was arrested.^{[citation needed]} Daniel was released from jail on a personal recognizance (PR) bond the next day.

Post-Eviction

After being evicted from Miss P's house and his subsequent fallout with the Shields Foundation, Daniel was intermittently homeless, though he spent few nights on the street due to Bob renting motels for him and fan donations. Daniel's daily life was generally uneventful during this time, as he is notably less-interesting when homeless. His activities were mainly limited to begging for donations, dine-and-dashing almost everyday, getting banned from businesses, and causing various mischief at the motels he stayed at.

Significant Events and Incidents

Abandoned at Walgreens (10/20)

Daniel was picked-up by a group of fans/trolls who drove him to Colorado Springs. After stopping at a Walgreens (referred to as "ralgreens" by Daniel), they left without him, leaving him stranded. Daniel attempted to walk back to Denver, making it as far as Monument before being rescued by fans, who then brought him back to Denver.

Crackhead Elevator (10/25)

In late October while homeless, Daniel decided to spend the night in the elevator of some sort of public structure, where he was joined by several other disheveled-looking people. They were visibly inebriated and appeared to be under the influence of opiates while "nodding-out."

Oxis Meet-Up (10/26)

On October 26th, Oxis and Daniel met in-person for the first time, where Ox bought Daniel food and drinks, and brought him to a casino. Daniel can be seen wearing a "Code Rainbow" sweatshirt that Oxis had made, with the intention of starting a line of Daniel Larson merchandise.

IHOP Ban (11/6)

Daniel is kicked-out and banned from a Denver-area IHOP for attempting to sleep in their bathroom overnight.

Olive Garden Ban (11/16)

Daniel is banned from a Denver-area Olive Garden after dine-and-dashing on his birthday.

Motel Ban (11/19)

Daniel is banned from a motel after kicking several holes in the wall and causing hundreds of dollars worth of property damage.

Lucky Strike Ban (11/23)

Daniel is kicked-out and banned from a Lucky Strike bowling alley near downtown Denver while livestreaming due to fans repeatedly calling the business.

December 10th Incident (12/10)

End of Second Housing Arc

Immediately after the December 10th Incident, Bob bought Daniel a plane ticket from Colorado Springs to Los Angeles, likely in an attempt to take a break from Daniel and get him somewhere warmer for the winter. This effectively ended the Second Housing Arc and the Travel Arc began.
