On August 30, 2026, Daniel spent the day at a shopping mall and interacted with many fans throughout the day. [1] Later that evening, he spent time with a fan known as Dutch. During their meetup, Dutch interviewed Daniel, shared a meal with him at Chipotle, and recorded the first videos of Daniel speaking since his last call from jail. [2]
The Interview
During the 90-minute meetup, Daniel and Dutch discussed various topics. Daniel claimed he would be permitted to return to social media in six months, as said in comments on Grace's YouTube channel using his care provider's account. He also stated that he liked his new care provider, and was focusing on music over social media moving forward. Despite two years in prison, Daniel still holds Grace in high regard, claiming he is now allowed to collaborate with her provided that trolls do not "manipulate" him.
Despite also being a known pedophile, Daniel discussed the documentary about EDP445 and expressed disgust regarding his actions. He also talked about controversial internet personalities, even using the term lolcow. Specifically, he mentioned Chris Chan, NovaOnline, and Joshua Block. For Chris Chan, Daniel stated that he should have never become famous due to the severe negative consequences, seemingly lacking self-awareness about his own history of online infamy.
Daniel revealed that he actively follows content dedicated to him, mentioning that he watches Larsonleak and browses his dedicated Reddit community. He noted that while he is unable to create videos, he continues to watch them, along with fanmade videos. Daniel also claimed that he only made online threats because he was provoked during a fight with someone who was impersonating the FBI.
