Lord of the Groove is an animation YouTuber making content centered on lolcows and other outrageous online figures. His formula consists of producing cartoon animations on top of existing audio, further enhancing their inherent comedic effect.

His first video on Cyraxx was posted on April 12th 2025[1], featuring an animated Cyraxx reenacting his reaction to getting caught into MassTrollMafia's sting back in 2021. The next month, Cyraxx would have its own series titled Goblin Tales, compiling audio from Cyraxx's freakouts into short animated sequences.

The serialization

On July 21st 2025, William Gloryhole made a community post[2] on his YouTube channel proclaiming that he and Lord of the Groove were working with the TV channel Adult Swim to produce an fully-fleshed animated series revolving around the Goblin of Akron.

A guaranteed classic!

Cyraxx spontaneously reacted ot this development by sending a ChatGPT-written cease and desist letter in the comments under one of Lord of the Groove's video for "unauthorized use of his image and voice". To hammer the message home, Cyraxx produced a video later that night directly adressing Lord of the Groove[3], reminding his "obligation" to contact him and demanding 90% royalties on Goblin Tales solely for the use of his image and voice, or else be hit with a lawsuit from his buddy-troll lawyers.

Not only are YouTube comments not considered a valid mean of communication to send legal documents, but cease and desist letters are not legally binding, which means that Lord of the Groove is not required by law to contact Cyraxx and negotiate a contract. Furthermore, the use of Cyraxx's drawn image and voice in a transformative cartoon would fall under the fair use doctrine, making his hypothetical case against Lord of the Groove very unlikely to go anywhere.
