The degradation of their relationship likely kicked off a chain of events that led to a major boiling point sometime in July 2025, when Dale and her sister took a 23andme DNA test and discovered that she was only related to the Smith (paternal) side of the family. Distraught, Dale confronted Sally on the matter, but she failed to obtain any answers.
