The Angry Tongue (also called the "turtle tongue") is a characteristic facial expression made by Daniel when he is having a meltdown, upset, agitated, or exerting physical effort. It is characterized by Daniel biting his slightly protruding tongue and has become one of his most famous and iconic traits. He is best known for doing it every time he self-harms, such as hitting his head.
Daniel was first shown doing the "Angry Tongue" when hugging his grandmother in the KWGN Tennyson Center News Report.
