Retarded Autistic User 2, commonly known as RAU2 or RAU, is a German-based internet personality and Discord community member known for his confrontational behavior, emotional outbursts, and repeated disputes with other members of the SCUSE-ME/lolcow.city community.

Although he strongly dislikes the nickname RAU and prefers to be addressed as Afrontement, Afront, or Batu, these preferred names have largely failed to gain traction within the community.

RAU2 became particularly controversial for reportedly making violent and sexually threatening statements during online arguments, especially during a prolonged period of intoxication in July 2026. His subsequent attempts to defend or retract those statements resulted in further disputes and criticism within the community.

Origin of the name

The name Retarded Autistic User 2 was given to RAU2 by vv following an irritating encounter with him in a Discord voice chat.

RAU2's behavior reminded vv of another community member known as Retarded Autistic User, a Saudi individual living in Canada who was known for frequently discussing cannabis and Linux.

The similarities prompted vv to rename him Retarded Autistic User 2, effectively designating him as a successor to the original user. The nickname subsequently became his established identity within the community, commonly abbreviated to RAU2 or simply RAU.

RAU2 has repeatedly expressed his dislike of the nickname, requesting that other members instead refer to him as Afrontement, Afront, or Batu. Despite these objections, members have continued using RAU2 and RAU almost exclusively, with his preferred names rarely being adopted.

Despite the naming convention, the two individuals are separate people, and the name does not indicate any actual relationship between them.

Gucci and Billy

RAU2's relationship with Gucci and his wife, Billy, deteriorated significantly during the July 2026 controversy, when RAU2 allegedly directed violent and sexually threatening statements toward Gucci and members of his family, including their infant child.

The remarks were reportedly made during a period of heavy intoxication and escalating arguments involving Gucci, Ernst, and RAU2. Their severity resulted in considerable backlash, particularly because the alleged threats extended beyond the participants themselves to members of Gucci's family.

Gucci subsequently demanded that RAU2 take responsibility for his statements. On July 23, 2026, he proposed forgiving RAU2 in exchange for a recorded apology in which RAU2 would kneel and ask for forgiveness.

The proposed apology became another source of conflict. Other community members, including FREEDOMMULLET, suggested additional conditions, such as requiring RAU2 to write an apology addressed to Gucci and Billy across his chest.

Although RAU2 initially indicated that he would participate, he later withdrew his agreement and resumed arguing with those involved.

Ernst

RAU2 has been involved in a prolonged feud with Ernst, who became known for deliberately provoking him during Discord conversations.

Ernst would frequently go out of his way to antagonize RAU2, often targeting subjects that he knew would elicit an emotional reaction. Rather than ignoring these provocations or disengaging from the conversations, RAU2 regularly responded with increasingly aggressive outbursts, allowing relatively minor disagreements to escalate into prolonged arguments.

Craig

RAU2 has a particularly hostile relationship with Craig, a community member and Discord server operator. Their ongoing feud stems from several incidents involving alleged doxxing, moderation disputes, and accusations of mass-reporting.

Early in their interactions, Craig allegedly disclosed RAU2's personal information without his consent. According to accounts of the incident, Craig faced no apparent disciplinary consequences for the alleged disclosure. The incident became a major source of resentment for RAU2, who has continued to express intense hostility toward Craig.

The relationship deteriorated further as Craig repeatedly muted RAU2 during community interactions. RAU2 regarded these moderation actions as additional mistreatment, reinforcing his existing resentment.

Despite Craig's public criticism of RAU2's reported threatening statements during the July 2026 controversy, he did not ban RAU2 from his new server immediately upon creation.

Instead, Craig eventually banned RAU2 after suspecting him of involvement in mass-reporting activity against the server or its members. The allegation was never conclusively established, and it remains unclear whether RAU2 was responsible for the reports.

The ban further aggravated an already hostile relationship, with RAU2 continuing to regard Craig as one of his principal adversaries within the community.

The Incident

Five-day drinking episode

Beginning around July 17–18, 2026, RAU2 reportedly engaged in a prolonged period of heavy alcohol consumption, primarily involving Three Sixty Vodka.

On July 20, 2026, an argument involving Ernst and Gucci escalated after the two repeatedly provoked RAU2 during online interactions.

During the confrontation, RAU2 allegedly made threats against Ernst, Gucci, and members of Gucci's family, including his infant child. The statements reportedly included threats of violence and sexual assault.

RAU2 subsequently made additional provocative remarks, including referring to a supposed intention to engage in "predatormaxxing". The meaning and seriousness of this statement were disputed, but it contributed to widespread criticism of his behavior.

The incident became a major controversy within the community, with screenshots attributed to RAU2 subsequently circulating among members.

Subsequent disputes

Over the following several days, RAU2 repeatedly argued with Ernst, Gucci, and other community members regarding his reported statements.

His responses reportedly varied between claiming that he had already apologized, attempting to explain the circumstances of his remarks, and engaging in further arguments with those criticizing him.

The inconsistent responses prolonged the controversy, particularly as other members continued sharing screenshots of his earlier statements.

Proposed apology video

On July 23, 2026, Gucci proposed that he would accept an apology from RAU2 if he recorded a video kneeling and asking for forgiveness.

As the dispute continued, FREEDOMMULLET suggested additional conditions, including a requirement for RAU2 to write an apology addressed to Gucci and Billy across his chest using permanent marker.

RAU2 initially stated that he did not have a permanent marker but indicated that he would be willing to record an apology video.

Approximately one hour later, he reportedly withdrew his agreement, leading to further arguments.

Community reaction

The controversy generated considerable criticism of RAU2 within the SCUSE-ME/lolcow.city community.

Ernst continued referencing screenshots of RAU2's reported statements during subsequent interactions, which frequently provoked renewed arguments.

Other members, including Craig and FREEDOMMULLET, publicly condemned the reported threatening remarks. Craig was particularly vocal in expressing opposition to threats involving children and sexual violence.

However, Craig did not ban RAU2 from his own server solely because of these statements. The ban occurred only after Craig suspected him of engaging in mass-reporting activity, an allegation for which no conclusive evidence was established.

Several participants also questioned whether RAU2 should continue to be permitted to participate in the community.
