Karl Boyle, (born 2008), who is otherwise known online by his handle BoshBoyce, is a content creator predominantly based on TikTok who has gained notoriety and attention for his eating content - repeatedly eating junk foods and "takeaways" daily whilst being obese. These videos have attracted a negative cult following that constantly vilify and mock his videos, making him become a "Lolcow" as he destroys his body to get more attention and therefore earn more money through TEMUslop sponsorships and the TikTok Creator Rewards Program.
Some have considered BoshBoyce to be the British counterpart to James Bola, who makes similar content. His catchphrase is "Bosh lads!", which he begins every video with.[1]
Background and personal life
BoshBoyce was born Karl Boyle some time in 2008-2009 in the United Kingdom, though little is known about his personal life and origins. He appears to be from Barrow-in-Furness in Leicestershire, as he has done promotional content for a college based there. He is characterised by his large physical presence, his "scouse-trim" hair and his catchphrase.
Online presence
BoshBoyce is most well known for his TikTok videos, some of which have garnered millions of views, where he eats and gives ratings to his meals. These usually consist of "takeaway" food, ultra-processed confectionery and store-bought junk as well as restaurant meals, snacks and meals he presumably makes himself. He also makes regular EA FC Twitch streams, and rarely uploads longer form content to two YouTube channels - being BoshBoyce and BoshBoyce Gaming.
Public image
Trolls and other detractors revel in poking fun at his weight, his sometimes overgrown hair and often his hands and fingernails which are prominent in his videos. Said trolls claim to leave their remarks and comments out of concern for his health.
