Submit a private report or personal-data request. No wiki account or adult-access confirmation is required to use that form.

Policy version: 2026-11-03.

Community and editorial rules

  • This service is intended for adults aged 18 and over. Provide accurate information in the adult-access check. Do not use another person's confirmation to evade restrictions.
  • Support serious factual claims about identifiable people with reliable, relevant sources. Clearly distinguish allegations, opinions and established facts. A screenshot can show that a statement was posted without proving that the statement is true.
  • Do not publish private addresses, private contact details, identification documents or unnecessary information about relatives or minors. Do not organize harassment, threats or unwanted contact.
  • Health, mental-health, sexual and criminal-offence information requires particular care, a lawful justification and a defensible public-interest assessment where relevant. Seek administrator review before adding sensitive allegations or private material.
  • Do not upload child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate material, pornography, credible threats, material encouraging suicide or self-harm, or other unlawful content. Factual reporting must remain proportionate and avoid harmful instructional detail.
  • Upload only material you have the right to use. Record its source, creator where known, and permission or the specific legal exception relied upon.
  • Administrators may investigate reports, request evidence, correct or restrict content, protect pages or restrict accounts. Decisions should be proportionate and documented. Good-faith reporting and appeals are welcome.

Report a concern using the private reporting form. If appealing, include the decision reference, relevant page URL and reasons for review. Do not include unnecessary private evidence in public discussion pages.

Privacy notice

What the service processes

Account information includes usernames, account email addresses and authentication records. Public contributions may include articles, uploaded files, edit summaries, timestamps and revision history. The website and its hosting/security providers process technical request information, including IP addresses and security logs, to operate and protect the service.

The adult-access form checks the age you enter for that request. It does not save your exact age or date of birth in a wiki record or access cookie. The access cookie contains a signed adult-status confirmation, selected country and expiry. It is specific to this website. Regional access controls also use an approximate country supplied by a trusted Cloudflare network connection. Administrators can restrict a page or sub-wiki and its child pages in selected countries. These controls do not identify a precise location and cannot prevent VPN use. Optional read-status records remain on your browser and are disabled unless you choose to enable them.

Private reports contain the information and optional contact details you submit, a private status-access credential and administrator decision records. They are stored separately from public wiki pages, encrypted at rest, and accessible to authorized administrators. Reports and adult-access declarations do not generate Discord notifications. Brief pseudonymous counters help prevent report abuse.

Purposes and lawful grounds

Where EU or UK data-protection law applies, the operator uses the following grounds. A legal obligation is relied on only where an applicable law actually imposes that obligation.

  • Accounts and requested wiki functions: legitimate interests in providing a contributor account, maintaining attribution and preferences, and operating a collaborative reference service. Public contribution and revision records support accountability and editorial integrity. These interests must be balanced against the rights of contributors and people described.
  • Access and security: legitimate interests in protecting the service, preventing abuse, enforcing adult and regional access rules and investigating security incidents. Adult-status and country declarations are used for access control; the wiki does not retain the exact age entered into the access form. This form is self-declaration and does not establish verified age.
  • Reports, privacy requests and legal correspondence: legitimate interests in receiving, investigating and responding to concerns and resolving disputes; compliance with applicable legal obligations where those duties apply. Data retained for establishing, exercising or defending an actual or reasonably contemplated legal claim is limited to what is necessary.
  • Optional reading-status storage: consent through the privacy choice. It stays on the browser. You can withdraw the choice and clear the stored status through Privacy choices. Third-party media requests occur when you activate an embed and are subject to that provider’s own processing.

Articles may contain information obtained from public sources or contributors. Public availability alone does not make every use lawful. Health, sex-life, ethnicity, religious-belief and criminal-offence information needs a separately established condition, statutory authorisation or an applicable expression/journalism exemption. An ordinary legitimate interest is insufficient on its own for those additional requirements. Unsupported sensitive claims can be restricted or removed while evidence and necessity are reviewed. This notice does not assert consent from article subjects or a blanket journalism exemption.

Recipients and international processing

The service uses NameCrane hosting in New York, United States, and ALL-INKL during the hosting transition and for existing email routing. Cloudflare provides delivery and security services. When enabled, public wiki activity and public usernames may be sent to Discord. Email sent to the legal contact is forwarded to the operator's business contact system. Third-party services may process information in other countries under their own applicable arrangements. Do not put private information into public articles or edit summaries.

Retention, security and individual requests

Public contributions and attribution are generally retained as revision history. Private case contents are kept while active, then scheduled for a retention review 12 months after closure. The operator is accountable for the queue, assisted by administrators. After review, case contents can be erased, leaving a minimal erasure receipt. Legal holds and unresolved appeals prevent erasure. Earlier justified erasure is assessed individually. This policy does not automatically erase article revisions, backups, emails or external copies. Technical logs, backups and provider records have separate retention arrangements. Personal information may remain in those systems until appropriately restricted, removed or overwritten.

You can request access, correction, restriction, objection or erasure where applicable by using the private reporting form or legal contact. Explain the information involved and your requested action. Requests are assessed under applicable law, including freedom-of-expression exceptions and any necessary, proportionate identity checks. You may complain to the relevant data protection authority. No fee is charged for ordinary good-faith reports or appeals.

Removal reviews must consider the current page, timeline records, earlier revisions and file versions, thumbnails, cached copies, generated previews and external notifications. External services control their own copies. Necessary evidence may be restricted and retained for legitimate legal purposes.

Manage optional read-status storage and adult-access confirmation.

Notices, decisions and appeals

Use the private form to identify exact URLs, explain the problem and legal or community-rule basis, and confirm that your information is accurate and submitted in good faith. Formal EU illegal-content notices normally require your name and email. Anonymous child-safety and general reports remain available. Do not send or duplicate unlawful images as evidence.

Keep the reference and private access code shown on submission. The status page provides an acknowledgement, progress, decisions and an appeal form. If you provide an email, generic updates are attempted and delivery failures are recorded. The operator owns the queue and administrators help investigate. Complaints sent to the public contact email are registered manually. Do not assume a public talk-page message has reached the private queue.

Applicable personal-data requests generally receive a response within one calendar month. Any permitted extension requires reasons and notice within the original period. Privacy complaints are acknowledged within 30 days and investigated without undue delay. Urgent safety issues can require much faster action. These periods do not postpone any duty to act expeditiously.

Moderation decisions should explain the action, facts, legal or rule basis, geographic scope and duration, human or automated involvement, and available review routes. Affected registered contributors can view private moderation notices at Special:SafetyInbox. Free internal appeals are accepted for at least six months, including through the contact email if access to the wiki is restricted. Review by another administrator is preferred where available. External court, regulator and applicable certified dispute-settlement routes remain available.

User-content hosting and intermediary liability

This wiki provides facilities for users to submit, edit and discuss contributions. User submissions are attributable to their contributors and do not necessarily express the views of icrashout2 LLC. Hosting or moderating a submission does not, by itself, mean that the operator endorses its claims.

United States

Where applicable, the operator may rely on the protections of 47 U.S.C. § 230 for information provided by another information content provider and for qualifying good-faith moderation. These protections are subject to statutory limits and exceptions. They do not automatically protect content created or developed by the operator, and do not provide a general exemption from intellectual-property law or other excluded claims.

European Union

Where applicable, Article 6 of the Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065) provides a conditional liability exemption for qualifying hosting activities. Its conditions include acting expeditiously to remove or disable access to illegal content upon obtaining the relevant knowledge or awareness. Applicable notice, cooperation, transparency and other duties remain in force.

United Kingdom

Potential protections include the conditional hosting provisions of regulation 19 of the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002. In England and Wales, section 5 of the Defamation Act 2013 provides a website-operator defence subject to its conditions and complaint procedures. Applicable Online Safety Act and data protection obligations are separate.

Other jurisdictions and limits

Local intermediary protections and responsibilities vary. No worldwide equivalent of Section 230 or universal immunity is asserted. This notice does not override mandatory law, court orders, applicable user rights or duties relating to the operator's own conduct. A label such as “platform” does not determine legal status. Legal complaints should identify the exact content and the grounds for concern through the private form or legal contact.
