A defining characteristic of Chance are his '''delusions and ego'''. While confidence and pride in one's accomplishments can be positive, Cyraxx exhibits extreme narcissism and overconfidence in most of his skills and personal characteristics, including his [[intelligence]], fame, [[Finances|fortune]], and "accomplishments."

== Overview ==

Like other Lolcows such as [[Chris Chan]] and [[Daniel Larson]], Cyraxx is highly delusional. In his mind, he is an world-famous, renowned for his [[music]], singing, art, [[Racing|e-racing]], playing [[Video Games|video games]], selling merchandise, and for the numerous amount of organizations that he claims to have ties to, such as the US Armed Forces, Hell's Angels, Akron Red Devils, and has an ancestry tracing back to Vikings. Of course, none of this is true and Chance's ego is entirely unwarranted. He is inept at basically everything he does, and the only things of quality "he" produces such as "his" [[art]] are poorly plagiarized from others.

Cyraxx's ego manifests in several forms, such as:

Cyraxx's is a very prideful person and is extremely reactive to any attack against his ego. This could stem from a deep-rooted feeling of insecurity caused by factors such as his appearance or his poor living situation. Being very sensitive to the opinion of others, Cyraxx will jump onto anything that could possibly tarnish his image even where ignoring the situation would have been the best option. What makes it worst are his intemperate tactics against his detractors, only encouraging them to continue poking and tormenting him for more entertaining rage fits. This creates a vicious circle where Cyraxx's reactions will attract more trolls, which in turn will produce more critical and degrading content against Cyraxx to which he will feel compelled to react to.

Cyraxx's clumsiness in justifying himself also has the effect of blurring lines between thruth and lies. For instance, when his Google account was hacked, Cyraxx's search history was also leaked, showing a collection of disturbing and embarassing queries. Cyraxx simply reacted as usual: throwing a huge fit on Marty's panel with its assortment of empty threats<ref>https://odysee.com/@N-Word_Boi_3.0:9/Cyraxx-live-on-Music-Biz-Marty%27s-panel.-Channel-lost-and-search-history-found-5-13-2024:6</ref>. However, some have suggested that whoever hacked the account could have possibly made these searches themselves after the act in order to further defame Cyraxx. Regardless of the truth, Cyraxx going right away on the defensive only served to further incriminate himself to the eyes of everyone else.

One of the biggest reasons as to why Cyraxx is such a hated individual and is stuck in this perpetual child-like mindset is his adament refusal to take any form of accountability for his actions. Accountability is an essential part for growing as a person, atoning for mistakes is what allows someone to change for the better to not repeat them. Cyraxx, however, already sees himself as a perfect being uncapable of doing anything possibly wrong, and whoever thinks otherwise is either an antagonist or misunderstand his actions.

 

Many of Cyraxx's videos and channels were taken down by YouTube due to his appalling behavior and wanton threats. However, instead of reflecting on the way he acts, he instead demanded that YouTube establishes a team of human employees to review each and every single video individually (ignoring how unrealistic this would be), because he believes that the reason why he's being taken down is due to YouTube's AI being uncapable of seeing that he is committing those actions to defend himself against Marty. In this example, Cyraxx both claims that he is being misunderstood, thinking that if a real employee reviewed his video he would immediately agree with him, and deflects the blame on Marty for his horrid behavior.

 

Simply put, Cyraxx lives in a fantasy world where he is always the winner and anything he says is facts. This sort of mindset was allowed to fester thanks to a lifetime of sheltering and coddling, compounded by his difficulties to understand the world around him.

 

This ability to not just alter, but outright transcend reality ''and'' expect others to believe it through and through is one of Cyraxx’s most recognizable characteristics. For measure, after Cyraxx was beaten in one fell swoop by Marty, on livestream, for thousands to see, he started fervently claiming that he, in fact, had won the fight and continued to threaten Marty with physical violence afterward.

One may also argue that Cyraxx does not believe his own lies, and that he only feels compelled to spew them out as a sort of healing balm onto his ego.  

Projection is a defense mechanism that consists of placing on others faults that one is directly guilty of. Because Cyaxx’s ego will refuse to admit any fault, he has the habit of detaching whatever negative is said about him and throw it back at whoever said it. What peculiarly strikes is how transparent Cyraxx’s projection is. For instance, he accused his aunt of living in filth and playing pretend on videogames all day, seemingly not considering the sheer irony of these words coming from the mouth of someone who is known by all for being both very unhygienic and highly delusional.

* Claims to be a millionaire who lost millions due to trolls.

* Wears a chain with a caricature of himself, spray-painted gold with fake rubies, sent by a troll to mock him. He uses it as a coping mechanism after being beaten up by MBM.
