As was stated before, Chance's delusions are often so strong that it's hard to tell when he's lying maliciously or if he genuinely believes what he's saying. This could just be another coping mechanism he learned as a child, that if you just tell yourself that something else happened for long enough, it'll become reality in your head, regardless of any contradicting evidence. One reason for this is Chance perpetually going out of his way to avoid the trolls confronting his version of events, as it could be construed as him not wanting them to shatter whatever delusion he's concocted in his head about what occurred. | As was stated before, Chance's delusions are often so strong that it's hard to tell when he's lying maliciously or if he genuinely believes what he's saying. Chance is a pathological liar through and through, and there's nothing he wouldn't lie about if he thought it was in his best interest to do so (usually for self-pity) His lies range from his childhood, all the way to [[Blind Billy|raping a blind kid in high school]]. Thankfully however, due to his low intelligence, it's very easy to figure out when he's lying or not. The most considerable factor is context—For example; If he wants to gain the upper hand in a conversation, he will almost always dish out empty threats. Usually followed by "That's not a threat, that's PROMISE!" and other [[Chance-ism|Chance-isms]]
Another factor is his general demeanor, if he's acting friendlier than usual, it's a sign that he's trying to deceive whoever he's talking to. Like when he tried to manipulate Marty into clicking on an IP grabber. His overall lack of patience and short temper makes it easy to figure out if he's lying, as it shows he's 'holding himself back' to further manipulate whoever he's talking to, into doing what he wants.
Usually if someone is telling the truth, their story will remain relatively consistent. Chance will always change the story to suit whatever narrative he's currently going for, with zero regard for the actual truth. Such as telling the story of how he was 'raped' as a child, to eventually switching the story to "We were just experimenting"—Or as the aforementioned IP Grabber incident; He continually insisted that Marty check out the 'image' of him dancing, afterwards saying "This ''might'' be something along those lines.." contradicting himself in mere seconds and drawing further suspicion.

* Claims that he survived an assassination attempt by Marty, and when the latter promised that if Cyraxx showed the bullet that he claimed was in his mattress, he would delete his entire channel. Cyraxx would decline, stating "I'm not gonna do what you want anymore." despite the fact it would take him only a few seconds to actually take it out.
