He married Sally in the late sixties in questionable circumstances, as not only Sally was 15 and William in his mid-twenties, but she was also pushed into mariage when it was discovered that she was pregnant with Ruple. Their mariage did not last very long however, and the two divorced five years later. Ruple, who was four at the time, ended up being largely raised by William, as Sally had very little contact with him after the divorce. | |||
