August was the 8th month of 2021. It was the 2nd month of Daniel living with Jonas.
Timeline
August 4
- Daniel, on the verge of tears, apologizes to Grace and Darci for asking for inappropriate videos. [1]
- Daniel says that one of the worst places to go as a celebrity is Hollywood without security.
- Daniel uploads a TikTok asking if dogs or cats are better.
- Daniel believes that Darci Lynne is in the hospital.
- Daniel thanks his 50,000 followers.
- Daniel asks for ideas for his next haircut.
August 7
- Daniel returns to the Walmart he was banned from to confront the manager, and talks to a police officer. [2]
- He believes Jonas contributed to the ban. It turned out that Daniel was not actually banned and that trolls had told him. However, he does get kicked out.
- Daniel posts a video and tags both Walmart and Target, complaining about the situation. Notably, the video has the "fog".
- Daniel holds leaves and thanks Kanye West, believing it is marijuana. He then eats the leaves.
- He asks for donations, and goes to the "train depot".
August 10
- Daniel uploads a video of the aftermath of the destruction of the pink room. In the video, drywall is everywhere and Daniel is crying. [3]
August 14
- Daniel Performs his first ever concert.
- Daniel uploads a three minute altercation with Jonas in which he cries and screams.
August 18
- Daniel gets a Mohawk haircut for the first time.
August 20
- The California saga begins as Daniel travels to Oakland, California via Amtrak train without paying. He believes he is going to Los Angeles.
- ~7:00 PM PST: A reddit user spots Daniel Larson at the Emeryville Amtrak station.[4]
August 21
- Daniel creates @daniellarsoninsocal TikTok account.
- Daniel posts various videos of his surroundings.
- Daniel is confirmed to not be in Los Angeles due to his surroundings.[5]
- Daniel posts various videos of his breakfast asking for donations (possibly Denny's); it is unknown if he ended up Dine and Dashing.
- Daniel is reported to have a meltdown in the streets of Oakland by local fans.
- Daniel records himself having a meltdown and hitting himself, saying that he is "done for". [6]
- @daniellarsoninsocal is banned for unknown reasons, by 6PM PDT.[7]
Sometime between
August 24
- Daniel is spotted in the Oakland airport by a fan; where he appears very nervous.[9]
- Daniel is somehow transported back to Denver via the Oakland Airport.
