  1. Early viral stunts

Before gaining widespread attention for the Subway incident, Jumanne attempted to build an audience through provocative public videos and music promotion.

Among these recordings were incidents in which he caused disturbances inside retail establishments, including knocking merchandise from shelves while referencing deceased rapper Pop Smoke.

The videos attracted criticism for their disruptive nature but also generated some online attention.

These early activities established the approach to internet fame that would eventually lead to his most widely publicized controversy.

  2. Subway food contamination incident

In October 2021, Jumanne filmed himself deliberately contaminating food at a Subway restaurant in Providence, Rhode Island, where he was employed.

The videos showed Jumanne throwing ingredients onto the floor, stepping into food containers, and placing deli meats around a toilet seat.

He repeatedly called for rapper Meek Mill to notice him and offer him a record deal.

The footage spread rapidly online and generated widespread criticism concerning food safety and the potential consequences for customers.

Subway subsequently confirmed that he had been fired by the franchise operator.

In an interview with Newsweek, Jumanne acknowledged that he had deliberately staged the incidents to attract publicity.

Although the stunt succeeded in generating attention, it also became a lasting source of negative publicity that continued to follow him throughout his subsequent online career.

  3. Reported iPad-pawning incidents

During 2024, accounts began circulating within Jumanne's community concerning his practice of purchasing expensive electronics with credit and subsequently pawning them to obtain gambling money.

According to these accounts, Jumanne purchased iPads using credit cards before selling or pawning the devices at a substantial loss.

The resulting cash was reportedly used for casino gambling, leaving him responsible for the original purchases regardless of whether he won or lost.

The incidents became a recurring subject of criticism because of the additional financial losses created before gambling had even begun.

The exact number of purchases and transactions has not been independently established.
