Cyraxx has been making "music" since the inception of his first channel such as rap-style content and occasional rock music, but like any form of art he tries to produce, the end product lacks any sort of quality. In Cyraxx's delusion world, his music is of course pure gold waiting to be discovered by a producer or the wider public, upholding his work as nothing less than pure genius and going as far as claiming that he created his very own genre of music. Cyraxx's music, even though it isn't very good, is the only real job he's had, as he has made a staggering $5.81 off of music streaming and was once signed onto a record label by Erik Skrubbalo before betraying him and getting kicked off of it.

Cyraxx has "made" many songs on his SoundCloud, Spotify, and YouTube channels where his discography is archived. His music is not good and he very rarely actually makes his own original music, only screaming over pre-made beats at 3 in the morning and waking up his parents, as shown in the Chester Bennington scream video.

Much like his art, his music is extensively stolen and plagiarized from people with actual talent. One of the more well-known examples of this is when he stole music from an artist called Zentrix Beats and tried to frame Zentrix as the bad guy when she took it down for copyright reasons, as Cyraxx was apparently paying her with "exposure," as if exposure from a known pedophile is worth anything.

Copyrights and due royalties have been an ever-pervasive issue in Cyraxx’s musical “career”. While Cyraxx is more than happy to steal beats from other artists, use AI to create tracks (if not entire songs) and whine at musicians and producers for charging too much for their work, he is extremely defensive about the rights and value of his own “work”. However, due to his laziness, limited intellect and non-existent financial means, Cyraxx was never able to formally protect any of his work, leaving the door wide open for trolls to swoop in and claim his music as theirs.

Cyraxx’s understanding of copyright law is both extremely skewed and conveniently self-serving. Due to his struggles with trolls claiming his music, Cyraxx claims that intellectual property applies automatically as soon as the work is created, so long as he can prove that he was the first to come up with it. In the eyes of courts however, rights to a workpiece belong to whoever filed for the rights first, as it would be next to impossible to prove whoever came up with the idea first. In addition, he seems to be under the impression that intellectual property falls under criminal law, and thus can threaten whoever steals his music with prison sentences.
His understanding of copyright law appears to be both deeply flawed and highly self-serving. While he is correct in believing that intellectual property is automatically granted upon the creation of a work, he often overlooks the practical realities of enforcement - namely that rights typically go to the party who registers or files first. This has left him vulnerable to copyright trolls and largely powerless to dispute their claims, as he lacks the knowledge or means to properly contest them. In addition, he seems to be under the impression that intellectual property falls under criminal law, and thus threatens whoever takes his music with prison sentences.

When the topic of his wanton theft of material is brought up, he will either come up with a myriad of excuses or claim that trolls can’t prove anything. Among his many excuses, he once claimed that he was allowed to claim somebody else’s track as his own so long as he slaps his own singing and lyrics on it. This belief was probably derived from the practice of “sampling”, where an artist uses someone else’s music as a background for their own song. An example of this would be Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice, which uses the instrumentals from Under Pressure by Queen and David Bowie. However, the artist still must ask permission from the original composer to use their work, and cannot claim full property on the song.
When the topic of him taking music material without permission is brought up, Chance is quick to deflect with excuses or claim that his accusers have no proof. He frequently cites "sampling" or covering songs as justification for using another artist's track, arguing that adding his own lyrics or vocals makes the work his own. However, for such uses to qualify as fair use, they must be meaningfully transformative, Chance’s alterations usually fall well below that standard, leaving him open to legitimate infringement claims.
