When the topic of him taking music material without permission is brought up, Chance is quick to deflect with excuses or claim that his accusers have no proof. He frequently cites "sampling" or covering songs as justification for using another artist's track, arguing that adding his own lyrics or vocals makes the work his own. However, for such uses to qualify as fair use, they must be meaningfully transformative, Chance’s alterations usually fall well below that standard, leaving him open to legitimate infringement claims.

Speaking of faire use, Cyraxx does not believe in this concept. While what constitutes "fair use" can be a blurry line, for Cyraxx however, the author must give express permission for their work to be quoted verbatim no matter what.<ref>https://rumble.com/v6vke61-cyraxx-live-on-fb.-how-they-do-it.-6302025..html?start=910</ref> He brushes off any claim to the fair use clause as a "loophole" used by trolls to steal his content, especially against archive channels repuloading his videos for documentation or commentary channels.

Wance Chilkins is a character used as a stand-in by [[William Gloryhole]] to mass-copyright Cyraxx’s music, thus effectively preventing him from publishing his “work” as his own without getting copyright claimed. This caused much chagrin to Cyraxx who has repeatedly threatened William with legal action to reclaim his music, usually with ridiculous prejudice to satisfy his twisted vengeance fantasies.

Of course, he brushes off the glaring contradiction that pretty much his entire discography consists of either stolen tracks or AI-generated content, which cannot be copywritten in due form in the first place.

Cyraxx owns a whole orchestra of instruments bought for him by Sally over the years. However, he has never bothered learning how to properly play any of them. Cyraxx's biggest issue is that he constantly bounces back and forth between instruments, tinkering with all sorts of instruments but mastering none of them. When given the advice to learn the basics one instrument at a time, Cyraxx rebuffs by saying that it would "hold back" his creativity, and that he is deliberately ignoring basics to create something entierly new from the ground up.
