The '''Headset Arc''', or '''Headset Era''', unfolded in late April 2021, derived from Daniel's conspicuous choice to wear an oversized blue gaming headset in public.

The headset era produced many quotable videos. Some of these videos consist of Daniel talking about accusations and allegations made against him (usually by [[Flexburger]]) while telling everybody not to believe them, and of course to please stay tuned. The microphone quality on this headset was sensitive to wind, as it was clearly not designed for recording audio outside, leading to his videos having poor audio.  

It is unknown at this time when the Headset Era exactly ended. Daniel has since been seen wearing various other headphones, which usually do not last very long.

Daniel would frequently go live wearing the headset.

Daniel had a "concert" for the BET awards (literally pronounced ''bet'' awards by Daniel) on May 6, which was hosted on TikTok LIVE. However, the stream was also uploaded to YouTube. Unsurprisingly, the concert did not consist of Daniel singing his own catalog of hits, but rather just playing or singing other people's music such as The Chainsmokers, Dustin Lynch and Bruno Mars; all while wearing the iconic headset and walking outside. Daniel received multiple phone calls during the concert which led to the interruption and early end of the live stream. {{#evt:

Daniel claimed that he made videos admitting to the accusations in order to clear them. He also mentions several actual and fictitious [[Management|record labels]], including "Interscope", "Party House Records", "Roach Records", and "Fame House Records". It is important to note that while some of these names are real record labels, it is highly unlikely that Daniel has had any real contact with them.

==Other headphones==

Daniel Larson, starting at an unknown date in May 2023, started wearing reasonably sized Spider-Man branded headphones meant for children. These headphones are low quality and have no mic, making almost all of his videos extremely quiet and difficult to hear. They were later smashed during the [[May 17th Incident|May 17 incident]]. However, Daniel can also bee seen throwing a different pair of headphones into the Hudson River during the same incident.
