*While Daniel’s court hearings are public, they are a serious matter and are often restricted due to his severe mental health issues. DO NOT try to go to the courthouse or attempt to get inside when Daniel has a hearing. Daniel can recognize when someone is a follower and not apart of his case. Unless you are directly involved in the investigation against Daniel, do not interfere with court proceedings.
On April 30, 2024, Daniel was arrested and placed into Jefferson County Detention Facility with the charge being not immediately made clear, being listed as "courtesy housing for another agency". It was originally thought that this arrest was due to Daniel violating probation several times, as in the days following up to his arrest, Daniel defrauded a Buffalo Wild Wings, as well as admitting to viewing CSEM. However, according to a call made to his manager, Clark, Daniel was arrested for the several terroristic threats he's made over the years, and according to his claims, he has federal charges which could land him in prison for several years. Ironically, Daniel was arrested just 28 days before this, and both months prior; making this the fifth time he has been arrested in 2024. However, unlike all of the others, he is ineligible for bond, and there is a chance he will never make bond due to the severity of his charges. Since his arrest, Daniel's only contact with the outside world has been through phone correspondence, though this appears to ceased permanantly.
On April 30, 2024, Daniel Larson was arrested and taken into custody at the Jefferson County Detention Facility. At the time of his arrest, the charges against him were undisclosed, with the listed reason being "courtesy housing for another agency." The following day, Daniel was transferred to the Clear Creek County Jail, where his mugshot was taken shortly after.

Additionally, his manager, Clark, was thought to be apprehended at his job due to his association with Daniel for the past 10 months. But, it was soon revealed that Clark along with other members of Daniel's "management" were investigated by the police, who asked for information regarding the threats Daniel had made. Afterward, Clark officially quit being Daniel's manager, admitting to lying about everything to Daniel. This aforementioned call is speculated to be the last official contact Daniel had with the outside world.
It was initially believed that Daniel's arrest was related to multiple probation violations, as in the days leading up to his arrest, Daniel defrauded a Buffalo Wild Wings, and admitted to viewing exploitive material of children. However, according to a subsequent call made to his manager, Clark, Daniel was arrested for several terroristic threats he had made over the past year at the time. These claims were later backed by documents that revealed that Daniel had been charged with seven counts of uttering threats, with a potential maximum sentence of 65 years if convicted on all counts.

This is one of the most significant events in Daniel's life, considering that, as of now, Daniel is currently at risk of being imprisoned for 65 years if found guilty on all charges. Many fans see this as being the final nail in the coffin, with his plot armor truly breaking. It would also prove as the most controversial event in the history of Daniel Larson, as multiple social media accounts and news articles would cover the situation as it unfolded.
This was the fifth time Daniel had been arrested in 2024 alone, with the most recent occurring just four weeks earlier. Unlike previous arrests, Daniel is ineligible for bond, and given the severity of the charges, there is a possibility he will never be granted bond.

On May 31st, Daniel was transferred to Englewood Federal Correctional Institution, where he is currently awaiting trial.
At the time of Daniel's arrest, it was believed that his manager, Clark, had been apprehended by authorities at his job due to his association with Daniel over the previous 10 months. However, it was soon revealed that Clark and members of Daniel's management were investigated by authorities who sought information about threats Daniel had made. Afterward, Clark officially resigned from being Daniel's manager and admitted to lying about his entire existence to him. This aforementioned call was speculated to have been the last contact Daniel had with the outside world, but this would soon be proven false, as Clark continued to communicate with him months later.

As of , Daniel is still incarcerated.
Following this, Daniel's contact with the outside world was through sporadic phone correspondence, which was suspended for nearly four months until September. During this time, Daniel befriended Lil Sippy over the phone after he sent him a letter. He was in contact with Lil Sippy and Clark while in FCI Englewood through phone calls, emails, and letters. During his two brief stays at two correctional facilities in Oklahoma, he was in touch with Clark via phone calls. However, since his transfer to MCFP Springfield in late December 2024, communications have been strictly through letters, although it appears that all communications have ceased permanently.

During the summer of 2023, a Secret Service agent named Daniel MacDougall would begin to investigate Daniel following several threats he had made, namely one where he said, ".. I am done, and I will not stop until the White House is blown up." following being released from police custody after having a destructive meltdown in a Walmart, as well as having his dog taken from him. Daniel would have multiple meetings with MacDougall, most notably one wherein he would meet up with MacDougall and an associate of his where he would be politely asked to stop live streaming before they began to talk.

Despite being told multiple times by a legitimate Secret Service agent to cease making threats against people and businesses, Daniel refused, even making threats against MacDougall himself.Citation Needed Due to this, a case would be built against Daniel, which would eventually lead to his arrest. Even more, law enforcement interrogated both Clark and members of management to confirm threats that Daniel had made over the years. This ended up being the final peices of evidence needed to arrest Daniel.
On May 31, 2024, Daniel was transferred to Englewood Federal Correctional Institution. He was held in a mental health facility for evaluation and was ordered to be institutionalized on July 19 after being found incompetent to stand trial.

On the 25th of April, a warrant was set out for Daniel's arrest. This was thought to be due to Daniel having violated his probation multiple times. This notion was only exacerbated by the fact that only 2 days after this warrant was issued, he was kicked out of a Pumphouse restaurant by authorities on April 27,Citation Needed and the next day he was kicked out of Buffalo Wild Wings after defrauding the restaurant.

On the evening of the 29th, he then went inactive on every one of his social media accounts, with his last post saying that he was on the bus back to Boulder. This would never happen, of course. Daniel is well known for making terroristic threats via social media and is speculated to have made over 100 threats since 2021, though this number is purely speculative. This habit of threat-making appeared to escalate in the weeks preceding his arrest. A prime example of this trend can be observed in the April 6th Meltdown, where Daniel repeated the phrase "bomb you!" and "kill you!", as well as threatening to cause damage to police stations and several other individuals. Daniel also made numerous threats against Bob Proctor on his YouTube community tab during this time, namely threatening to assasinate him. Additionally, Daniel threatened a mass shooting against a hospital after being kicked out for loitering during January of the same year.
On December 6, 2024, Daniel informed Lil Sippy that he was scheduled to be transferred to the United States Medical Center for Federal Prisoners (MCFP Springfield) in the following week. He was released from Englewood four days later and was transferred to Cimarron Correctional Facility in Oklahoma, where he stayed for two weeks. On Christmas Eve, he was transferred to Grady County Detention Center for unknown reasons, and three days later was transferred to MCFP Springfield for further mental health evaluation. Daniel underwent several competency restoration and mental health evaluation processes since his incarceration at MCFP Springfield, and stayed there throughout 2025. The most recent one concluded in November 2025.

These threats would not serve him in the long run, as the Colorado PD would build a case against him, charging him with 7 counts of threats, which, even if unlikely, could land him in jail for 70 years if he were to be found guilty of all of them. In the indictment calling for Daniel's arrest, each threat Daniel had made that contributed to his arrest was stated, most notably one wherein Daniel threatened to bomb the DDRC. The DDRC was a non-profit organization that helped Daniel get housing the past, and the reason behind this threat is known, but this eventually lead to it's building behind shut down and investigated by police (as well as sniffer dogs) out of fear that Daniel had legitimately placed explosives in the building.
On January 13, 2026, Daniel was transferred out of MCFP Springfield and placed in the Federal Transfer Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Three days later, he was returned to FCI Englewood. He had a court hearings on January 22 and February 3, 2026 on his competency, which will be ruled soon. It remains uncertain whether Daniel will continue to be institutionalized or be released.

After being arrested, he was placed into Jefferson County Detention Facility, but only a day later, Daniel would be placed into Clear Creek County Jail. Before his charges were revealed, his charge was "courtesy housing for another agency". However, it wouldn't take long for his charges to be revealed.
This is one of the most significant events in Daniel's life, considering that he is currently at risk of being imprisoned for up to 65 years if found guilty on all charges, or possibly see himself institutionalized for the rest of his life. Many see this as the final blow, with his plot armor truly breaking. It has also become the most publicized aspect of Daniel's life thus far, as multiple social media accounts and news articles have covered the situation as it unfolded. The Second Jail Arc is the longest duration of Daniel being incarcerated.

As of , Daniel still remains in custody.
Daniel was arrested on the afternoon of April 30th during his probation meeting, and booked into the Jefferson County Detention Facility, ineligible for bail. Before it was revealed that he was charged with seven counts of uttering threats, his charge was "courtesy housing for another agency". During the summer of 2023, Secret Service agent Daniel MacDougall began investigating Daniel following several terroristic threats, namely one in which he threatened to blow up the White House. This threat in particular came right on the heels of Daniel having had a destructive meltdown in a Walmart after having his dog taken from him. Following this, Daniel would have multiple meetings with MacDougall, including one notable encounter where he met with MacDougall and an associate of his.Despite repeated warnings from a legitimate Secret Service agent to cease making threats against people, businesses, and government agencies, Daniel continued to make such threats, even making threats directed against MacDougall. As a result, a case was built against Daniel, which eventually led to his arrest. Law enforcement interrogated both Clark, his then-manager, and members of Daniel's management to verify the threats he had made over the years. These testimonies provided the final pieces of evidence necessary for Daniel's arrest.

It was revealed that the FBI was made aware of the threats from the July 3rd Community Tab Incident, the August 29th Meltdown, the Christmas Day Meltdown, and the March 23rd Meltdown, and built a case with them.
On April 25, 2024, a warrant was issued for Daniel's arrest. This was thought to be due to Daniel having violated his probation multiple times, even before the issuing of said warrant. === Clark's (alleged) arrest, and interactions with Bob ===
On the evening of April 29, Daniel became inactive on all of his social media accounts, with his last post stating that he was on a bus returning to Boulder. The following morning, he posted on TikTok that he was on his way to the probation meeting, which would be his last social media post before his arrest.
On May 3rd, Clark, Daniel's former manager, reported in a discord server (presumably where other members of "Management" resided), that police officers had showed up at his place of work. Almost instantly afterward, Clark went offline and it was assumed that he had been arrested due to apparently being an accomplice to all of Daniel's threats, as well as having alleged contact with the Secret Service agent that got Daniel arrested in the first place. This was proved to be false, as it was revealed he was not arrested.

After hours of silence, Clark resurfaced in the management Discord with concerning messages. He shared that he had been fired from his job for being, quote, "too drunk." Additionally, he was contacted by Bob Proctor, Daniel's mentor, about him allegedly getting into a fight while being held. This was a revelation nobody knew, as it was thought that since the Christmas Day Meltdown, Bob had officially cut ties with Daniel, especially after telling the police that he wanted absolutely no contact with Daniel.

After this occured, Clark officially stopped managing Daniel. In his final calls to him, he admitted to Daniel that everything he had done was fake, and that he would cease contacting him as he'd done more bad for his life than good. Most notably, Clark states that due to him managing Daniel, he had lost multiple job opportunities.
Daniel is well known for making terroristic threats via social media and is speculated to have made over 100 of these threats since 2021. This habit of making threats appeared to escalate in the months leading up to his arrest. A prime example of this trend can be seen in the April 6th Meltdown, in which Daniel repeated the phrase "bomb you!" and "kill you!" threatening to vandalize several government buildings. Even more, in January of the same year, Daniel threatened to carry out a mass shooting against a hospital after having been kicked out.

Shortly after this call was conducted, a final call between Clark and Daniel was made. In his text's to Bob, Bob stated that Daniel wanted to have a man to man talk with Clark (which he apparently doesn't know the meaning of) as well as hearing Clark's concerns. This shows that even after being informed that Clark was trolling Daniel, he failed to understand that there was no friendship between them.
These threats would not serve him well in the long run, as the Colorado Police Department was slowly building a case against him, charging him with seven counts of threats, which carries a maximum sentence of 65 years.

Phone Call
On May 2nd, Flexburger uploaded a call between Clark and Daniel, although it is likely that the call took place sometime during the 1st, due to a previous leaking of the audio. Portions of the audio are removed by a robotic voice saying "Property of Larsonleak".
In the indictment leading to Daniel's arrest, each threat Daniel made that contributed to his arrest was stated, most notably one wherein Daniel threatened to bomb a non-profit organization. This was soon discovered to be the Developmental Disabilities Resource Center (DDRC). The DDRC is a non-profit organization that previously helped house Daniel. While the reason behind this threat is unknown, Daniel's threats led to the building being evacuated and searched by bomb-sniffing dogs. The case also included threats to Colorado University and an unspecified state government building. These threats were posted to his Community Tab.

Daniel starts by stating that the police are looking into Bob's financial situation under the suspicion Bob is committing fraud, although this is most likely a lie. Daniel then informs Clark that he has Federal court on Monday, May the 5th, and has acquired a public defender. He later elaborates that he has been deemed a flight risk, and the judge said that he is one step away from acting on these threats. Daniel drops a bombshell that the DDRC building, a service for people with developmental disabilities that had served Daniel in the past, had to be evacuated because of his bomb threats he had made.
Additionally, the case included the following Incidents:

{{PleaseSpreadTheMessage|It is important to note that Daniel's management has not, and will not, face legal repercussions for their involvement with Daniel. === <big>Second Phone Call</big> ===

From a video posted by Larsonleak raw on the 12th of May 2024 featuring Kusari, a phone call from the 6th of May 2024 was leaked where Clark had revealed everything to Daniel.

This occurred after management, as well as Clark, were interrogated by the police due to their involvement with Daniel. Clark elaborates that due to Daniel, he had lost 2 (possibly 3) jobs due to him, and that this call to Daniel was, "the most important call of his life".   {{#evu:https://archive.org/details/the-end-of-daniel-larson-coming-clean

Daniel: Hello?

Daniel: OK.

*Daniel sighs, and can be heard breathing heavily*

I'm sorry, not really at the same time,  because this has been the fucking weirdest 10 months of my life, and I've had to been talking to a pretty much pedophile for that whole time while also hurting my image, I even got fired for my fucking job in real life for this, Daniel. After being contacted by Bob, Clark stepped down as Daniel's manager. In his (at the time) final calls to him, he admitted to Daniel that everything he had done up until that point had been fake, and that he would cease contacting him going forward.

[Call lasts for another 16 minutes, mostly Daniel giving muffled responses and repeating himself. Clark hangs up.]
Shortly after this call was conducted, a final call was made between Clark and Daniel. In texts to Clark, Bob stated that Daniel wanted to have a man-to-man talk with Clark.

The Charges
Daniel is currently facing serious legal charges. Initially, he was facing six counts of "Use or Threatened Use of Explosive" and one count of "Interstate Communication of Threats." Each "Use or Threatened Use of Explosive," charge carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in federal prison. The "Interstate Communication of Threats" charge could add an additional five years. Based on all seven charges, the maximum jail time that Daniel could face was 65 years in prison.

As mentioned in the calls with Clark, Daniel was assigned a public defender as he did not have the means to get a lawyer due to his financial instability. It is unknown when he was assigned, but Daniel's public defender would soon be identified as Jared Scott Westbroek. According to Daniel, his public defenders main argument would be that due to Daniel's inability to actually hurt people to create/use explosives, the charges he was facing were false.
First jail communication
Shortly after being incarcerated, Daniel had a phone conversation with Clark, his then manager, on May 1.  As mentioned in these calls, Daniel was assigned a public defender due to not having the means to obtain a lawyer. His attorney was soon identified as Jared Scott Westbroek. According to Daniel, his public defender is attempting to argue that Daniel could not have carried out any of his threats as he lacked the resources to do so; therefore, he should be released.

Second and third communication
On May 6, motivated by the interaction he had with law enforcement at his workplace, Clark called Daniel, revealing that his entire existence was a lie and that everything he had done up to that point was a fallacy. This call is the most serious of all of them, with Clark referring to it as the "most important call of his life."

On May 9, Clark reluctantly answered a phone call from Daniel, after being convinced to do so despite an earlier decision to cut all contact. Daniel reached out in hopes of fixing their friendship. Clark remained serious, telling Daniel he had many people to apologize to. This would be the last call Daniel would have for nearly 4 months.

Motion for Daniel's release
Motion for Daniel's release
On the 10th of May, right before Daniel's court hearing, documents were found that detailed Daniel's public defender, Jared, making a motion for Daniel's immediate release. Ironically enough, according to a detention order signed by U.S. Magistrate Judge Norman Reid Neureiter, Daniel requested to be released just a day before this on May 9th. However, he was obviously denied.
On May 10, just before Daniel's court hearing, documents were found that detailed how Daniel's public defender, Jared Scott Westbroek, had introduced motion for Daniel's immediate release. However, this motion, along with one filed the day before, was denied by the judge.

These documents asked for Daniel to be put under GPS tracking, as well as being put under mandatory mental health treatment. This documents also mentions putting Daniel into a halfway house, where he'd presumably stay if he were to come out of jail, which has not happened yet.

As of June 1st, this motion has been left unresolved.
As of June 29, 2024, this motion remains unresolved.

Due to his not guilty plea, Daniel was not released from jail. Daniel was given a new trial date, set for July 15, which was stated in the Order of Detention following the trial.  According to Bob, Daniel stated that "nothing was accomplished" following the conclusion of the hearing.

May 10 court appearance
In texts to Clark, Bob tells him that he would be held until a mental health evaluation was conducted (which Daniel will most definitely fail). Additionally, Bob states that Daniel says the "appearance got leaked," although it is unclear as to what Daniel meant by this.

After the court hearing, the judge, Norman Reid Neureiter, issued an order of detention. This confirmed that Daniel would, in fact, remain in jail after pleading not guilty, as well as the judge demanding that Daniel complete a mandatory mental health evaluation. This order of detention also addresses Daniel's request for release. Following this hearing, the case was given to federal judge Regina M. Rodriguez.    <gallery caption="Gallery">

July 19 Competency Report
A psychiatric report for Daniel was filed on July 19, 2024. In this report, it is revealed that Daniel was deemed incompetent for trial and would be institutionalized in an unknown mental health facility in hopes of being evaluated. The court hearing scheduled for September 23, 2024 was canceled. On July 26, an order was issued for Daniel to be institutionalized for a period of no longer than four months. He was also deemed "sexually dangerous" in the order. According to Daniel around this time, he was in the specialized housing unit (SHU).

Daniel was to be re-evaluated around the end of November 2024; however, this did not happen.<gallery caption="Gallery">

September 7 Clark communication
On September 7, 2024, Clark called Daniel for the first time in nearly 4 months. Daniel seems to have forgotten nearly everything they had discussed in their last call, amplified by delusions of being in contact with the VanderWaal family. Daniel also divulges details of his current legal situation, most notably that he was going to be transferred to a psychiatric facility in a different state sometime in the near future, and that he had been in protective custody for up to 2 months at that point.

September 25 report & transfer request
A report was filed on September 25 by Daniel's attorney, Jared Westbroek. He demanded that Daniel be transferred to a psychiatric facility within a week and that the court receive his evaluation by November 25, with the case to be dismissed if neither happened. Daniel's attorney believed that he had been in prison for longer than he needed to be. The reason for this is that, at the time, mental health facilities in the area did not have any beds available.

On October 3, 2024, the court responded to this request, stating that his four-month evaluation period will begin in December. He will also be moved to Springfield, Missouri, that month, and will be re-evaluated in April 2025. However, staff in Daniel's prison said that he will not be transferred anytime soon, as he is not even on the list and there are no beds available. If he is not transferred to Springfield by December 31, 2024, the case will be dismissed, resulting in Daniel's release.

Canceled & future hearings
Daniel had a competency hearing scheduled for September 23, 2024. Before it could happen, it was ordered to be vacated, and Daniel was to be reevaluated sometime at the end of November. This re-evaluation did not happen.

Lil Sippy prison communications
In additional correspondence from prison to Lil Sippy, a convicted criminal Daniel acquainted himself with, Daniel provided updates on his current situation and experiences. Daniel continued to double down on his delusions, threaten to sue the US Government, claim Bob was ruining his life, ask Sippy sexual questions over mail, and demand his release from prison. More importantly, Daniel admits that he had not spoken to his lawyer since early August 2024.
Final FCI Englewood Correspondence
On December 1, 2024, Daniel would make his last call at FCI Englewood. In his final call to Clark, Daniel claims to have been raped by a previous cellmate of his. The validity of this claim has not been confirmed, but it can be assumed that this accusation of assault is false, considering Daniel's record of falsely accusing others of assaulting him.

December 10 Transfer
On December 6, 2024, Daniel replied to an email from Lil Sippy that he was packing up and awaiting transfer to Springfield within the next week. Four days later, Daniel was found not to be in BOP custody. It was confirmed by Flexburger that Daniel was transferred out of FCI Englewood on December 10, 2024, and had been booked into Cimarron Correctional Facility in Payne County, Oklahoma. Latest revision as of 22:23, 22 February 2026

This article covers Daniel's arrest on April 30, 2024 for various federal charges. For other uses, see Jail (Disambiguation).

Why the long face?

On April 30, 2024, Daniel Larson was arrested and taken into custody at the Jefferson County Detention Facility. At the time of his arrest, the charges against him were undisclosed, with the listed reason being "courtesy housing for another agency." The following day, Daniel was transferred to the Clear Creek County Jail, where his mugshot was taken shortly after.

It was initially believed that Daniel's arrest was related to multiple probation violations, as in the days leading up to his arrest, Daniel defrauded a Buffalo Wild Wings, and admitted to viewing exploitive material of children.[1] However, according to a subsequent call made to his manager, Clark, Daniel was arrested for several terroristic threats he had made over the past year at the time. These claims were later backed by documents that revealed that Daniel had been charged with seven counts of uttering threats, with a potential maximum sentence of 65 years if convicted on all counts.

This was the fifth time Daniel had been arrested in 2024 alone, with the most recent occurring just four weeks earlier. Unlike previous arrests, Daniel is ineligible for bond, and given the severity of the charges, there is a possibility he will never be granted bond.

On May 31, 2024, Daniel was transferred to Englewood Federal Correctional Institution. He was held in a mental health facility for evaluation and was ordered to be institutionalized on July 19 after being found incompetent to stand trial.

On January 13, 2026, Daniel was transferred out of MCFP Springfield and placed in the Federal Transfer Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Three days later, he was returned to FCI Englewood. [3] He had a court hearings on January 22 and February 3, 2026 on his competency, which will be ruled soon. It remains uncertain whether Daniel will continue to be institutionalized or be released.

This is one of the most significant events in Daniel's life, considering that he is currently at risk of being imprisoned for up to 65 years if found guilty on all charges, or possibly see himself institutionalized for the rest of his life. Many see this as the final blow, with his plot armor truly breaking. It has also become the most publicized aspect of Daniel's life thus far, as multiple social media accounts and news articles have covered the situation as it unfolded.[4] The Second Jail Arc is the longest duration of Daniel being incarcerated.

As of February 23, 2026, Daniel still remains in custody.

Background

Warrant for Daniel's arrest.

Following this, Daniel would have multiple meetings with MacDougall, including one notable encounter where he met with MacDougall and an associate of his.[5]

Daniel's last post before his well-deserved arrest.

Despite repeated warnings from a legitimate Secret Service agent to cease making threats against people, businesses, and government agencies, Daniel continued to make such threats, even making threats directed against MacDougall.[6] As a result, a case was built against Daniel, which eventually led to his arrest. Law enforcement interrogated both Clark, his then-manager, and members of Daniel's management to verify the threats he had made over the years. These testimonies provided the final pieces of evidence necessary for Daniel's arrest. On April 25, 2024, a warrant was issued for Daniel's arrest. This was thought to be due to Daniel having violated his probation multiple times, even before the issuing of said warrant. This notion was only exacerbated by the fact that only two days after this warrant was issued, he was kicked out of a Pumphouse restaurant by authorities on April 27, 2024,[7] defrauded a Buffalo Wild Wings the next day, and on his YouTube community tab, claimed to have viewed illegal material of children.[8]

"Ladies and gentlemen, we got him."

On the evening of April 29, Daniel became inactive on all of his social media accounts, with his last post stating that he was on a bus returning to Boulder. The following morning, he posted on TikTok that he was on his way to the probation meeting, which would be his last social media post before his arrest.

These threats would not serve him well in the long run, as the Colorado Police Department was slowly building a case against him, charging him with seven counts of threats, which carries a maximum sentence of 65 years.

Additionally, the case included the following Incidents:

The Arrest

Daniel was arrested on the afternoon of April 30, 2024, during his probation meeting. He was booked into the Jefferson County Detention Facility and was ineligible for bail. Before his actual charges were revealed, he was charged with "courtesy housing for another agency." Daniel was transferred to Clear Creek County Jail the next day, where his mugshot was taken. Once Daniel was arrested, many speculated the charges to be related to probation violations, dine and dashing, or his admission to watching exploitative material.

Looks like management Better Call Saul!

Clark's (alleged) arrest, and interactions with Bob

On May 3, Clark, Daniel's former manager, reported in a Discord server that police officers had come to his place of work. Almost instantly afterward, Clark went offline. It was at first assumed that he had been arrested due to allegedly being an accomplice to all of Daniel's threats, as well as having had contact with the Secret Service agent who got Daniel arrested in the first place. This was later proven to be false.

Text's between Clark and Bob.

Following hours of silence, Clark resurfaced on Discord with concerning messages. He shared that he had been fired from his job for being "too drunk." Additionally, he was contacted by Bob Proctor, Daniel's mentor, regarding an alleged altercation Daniel was involved in while in custody. This was a revelation nobody knew, as it was thought that since the Christmas Day Meltdown, Bob had officially cut ties with Daniel.

After being contacted by Bob, Clark stepped down as Daniel's manager. In his (at the time) final calls to him, he admitted to Daniel that everything he had done up until that point had been fake, and that he would cease contacting him going forward.[9]

Shortly after this call was conducted, a final call was made between Clark and Daniel.[10] In texts to Clark, Bob stated that Daniel wanted to have a man-to-man talk with Clark.[11]

The "Interstate Communication of Threats" charge could add an additional five years.[12][13] Based on all seven charges, the maximum jail time that Daniel could face was 65 years in prison. It is difficult to accurately estimate the fines that Daniel may face, as they range quite substantially.

Legal proceedings and communications

Daniel's public defender, Jared Westbroek.

On May 10, just before Daniel's court hearing, documents were found that detailed how Daniel's public defender, Jared Scott Westbroek, had introduced motion for Daniel's immediate release. However, this motion, along with one filed the day before, was denied by the judge.

These documents requested that Daniel be outfitted with an ankle tracker and placed under mandatory mental health treatment if released. This document also mentions placing Daniel in a halfway house, where he would presumably stay if he were to be released from jail, which has not yet happened.

As of June 29, 2024, this motion remains unresolved.

May 10 Court Appearance

"Nothing was accomplished."
TLDR; He's not getting out.

Daniel appeared in court for an arraignment on May 10, 2024, and pleaded not guilty to all charges. Due to his not guilty plea, Daniel was not released from jail. Daniel was given a new trial date, set for July 15, which was stated in the Order of Detention following the trial. According to Bob, Daniel stated that "nothing was accomplished" following the conclusion of the hearing.

In texts to Clark, Bob tells him that he would be held until a mental health evaluation was conducted (which Daniel will most definitely fail). Additionally, Bob states that Daniel says the "appearance got leaked," although it is unclear as to what Daniel meant by this.

Order of detention

After the court hearing, the judge, Norman Reid Neureiter, issued an order of detention. This confirmed that Daniel would, in fact, remain in jail after pleading not guilty, as well as the judge demanding that Daniel complete a mandatory mental health evaluation. This order of detention also addresses Daniel's request for release. Following this hearing, the case was given to federal judge Regina M. Rodriguez.

May 23 Docket

A docket from May 23 ordered Daniel to undergo a mental health evaluation. His July 10th and 15th court dates were canceled, and he was sent to undergo an evaluation at a mental health facility.[14]

May 27 Docket Report

On May 27, a docket report was issued that detailed all that had happened up to that point during Daniel's incarceration.

May 31 Transfer

Details of his transfer.

On May 31, Daniel was transferred to Englewood Federal Correctional Institution, which, coincidentally, is the same facility where sex offender and documented pedophile Jared Fogle is being held.

Daniel was to be re-evaluated around the end of November 2024; however, this did not happen.[15]

He demanded that Daniel be transferred to a psychiatric facility within a week and that the court receive his evaluation by November 25, with the case to be dismissed if neither happened.[16] Daniel's attorney believed that he had been in prison for longer than he needed to be. The reason for this is that, at the time, mental health facilities in the area did not have any beds available. [17]

On October 3, 2024, the court responded to this request, stating that his four-month evaluation period will begin in December. [18] He will also be moved to Springfield, Missouri, that month, and will be re-evaluated in April 2025. [19] However, staff in Daniel's prison said that he will not be transferred anytime soon, as he is not even on the list and there are no beds available. If he is not transferred to Springfield by December 31, 2024, the case will be dismissed, resulting in Daniel's release. [20]

Canceled & future hearings

Daniel had a competency hearing scheduled for September 23, 2024. Before it could happen, it was ordered to be vacated, and Daniel was to be reevaluated sometime at the end of November. [15][21][22] This re-evaluation did not happen.

THERE IS A CELEBRITY IN A MENTAL HOSPITAL!

Final FCI Englewood Correspondence

On December 1, 2024, Daniel would make his last call at FCI Englewood. In his final call to Clark, Daniel claims to have been raped by a previous cellmate of his.[23] The validity of this claim has not been confirmed, but it can be assumed that this accusation of assault is false, considering Daniel's record of falsely accusing others of assaulting him.

December 10 Transfer

On December 6, 2024, Daniel replied to an email from Lil Sippy that he was packing up and awaiting transfer to Springfield within the next week.[24] Four days later, Daniel was found not to be in BOP custody.[25] It was confirmed by Flexburger that Daniel was transferred out of FCI Englewood on December 10, 2024, and had been booked into Cimarron Correctional Facility in Payne County, Oklahoma. With all previous details noted, Daniel was to be transferred to Cimarron within the near future.

EMERGENCY!

Christmas Eve Transfer

On December 24, 2024, after spending two weeks in Cimarron, Daniel called Clark stating that he had moved to Grady County Detention Center and was being held on a 23-hour hold. [26]

December 27 Transfer

On December 27, 2024, Daniel was found to be back in BOP custody. He was transferred to the United States Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, also known as MCFP Springfield. He was sent to Springfield with the intention of getting a mental health evaluation. Known documents state that he is to go through this mental health evaluation for at least 4 months, which ended around April 10-11, 2025.

Motion to Unseal Grand Jury Records

On January 10, 2025, Lil Sippy attempted to interfere with the case against Daniel by filing a motion to unseal grand jury records regarding his case. It was denied.[27]

Jeffrey Feiler, Daniel's second lawyer.

Acquisition of New Attorney

On April 10, 2025, Daniel was assigned a new attorney, Jeffrey Feiler, who officially filed a Notice of Attorney Appearance to represent Daniel in all future legal proceedings. Feiler is an attorney who has experience dealing with mentally ill and online-infamous clientele. The acquisition of Feiler is likely because Daniel was proven competent to stand trial.

The following day, Daniel, through his former attorney Jared Westbroek, filed a request to restrict certain dockets from public access.[28] On April 25, 2025, Feiler was removed from the case.

Restricted Documents

On April 11, 2025, Daniel submitted a request to place certain documents under Level 3 Restriction, effectively sealing them from public access. Following this, an extension request letter and a forensic report were filed on April 25, 2025, with an additional filing made on May 5. A minute order was also filed on May 23, 2025. It was revealed that this was a 120-day extension request, which was granted.

Summer 2025 & Extended Competency Restoration

May to August 2025 was another competency restoration period for Daniel. Daniel and his legal counsel had documents from those months restricted from public access, though during the period Daniel sent letters from prison to unknown individuals. [29] On August 22, 2025, another 120-day evaluation extension request was made and granted.

September 18 Hearing & Independent Evaluation

On September 8, 2025, Judge Regina M. Rodriguez scheduled a court hearing for September 18, 2025, with Daniel to appear virtually, and his attorney to appear in person. The psychiatric report from August 22, 2025, stated that Daniel remained incompetent to stand trial after three assessments. The purpose of the upcoming hearing is to determine the next steps for Daniel. [30] This is Daniel's first court hearing since May 1, 2024.

The hearing took place on September 18, 2025, and the court placed the case on hold for an independent competency evaluation. Once that is completed, the court will determine whether to do another round of restoration or pursue civil commitment. [31] The evaluation ended in early November, and in December, his attorney objected to his continued incarceration.

Q1 2026 Transfer & Court Hearings

Dr. Katlyn Hanson of Springfield, MO, the lead person in charge of evaluating and monitoring Daniel.
Fuckass Bob just testified against me!

An evidentiary hearing was scheduled for January 9, 2026, but it was postponed at Daniel's request. The hearing was rescheduled for January 22, 2026. [32] Daniel was transferred out of MCFP Springfield on January 13, 2026 after being held there for a year, and was subsequently placed in the Federal Transfer Center for three days. He was then transferred back in FCI Englewood on January 16, 2026 in preparation for his upcoming in-person court hearing.

The hearing took place on January 22, 2026, with Daniel appearing in person. The proceedings were restricted due to the focus on mental health diagnoses.[33] Due to time constraints and people waiting to testify, the competency hearing was not concluded. The main forensic psychiatrist, Dr. Katlyn Hanson, provided testimony. [34] A certificate of competency was issued, which led many to believe that Daniel was found competent to stand trial, however this may not be true.

Another hearing occurred on February 3, 2026, during which Dr. Mark Mills, another forensic psychiatrist, testified. Judge Regina M. Rodriguez is expected to issue a written ruling about Daniel's competency within the following week.[35] A follower somehow entered the courtroom and claimed that Daniel's looks have changed, specifically that he gained weight, was very calm and composed, and his hair was slightly longer. They were removed from the courtroom prior to proceedings. [36] The speedy trial calculations were submitted on February 9, 2026, with 57 days remaining at the time. [37]

Additional witnesses were to testify for the hearing, however after the February 3 hearing, the hearing was concluded and these witnesses did not provide testimony. The witnesses were Bob Proctor; Greg Suarez, CEO of Golden Fiduciary and trustee for Nancy Shimer's trust; Mandi Doryland, a Highlands Ranch based counselor who likely previously worked with Daniel; Ian Thomson, CEO of Daniel's caretaker company and former case manager; Jodie Marquez, operations director for Roundup Fellowship and an additional case manager; Alicia Cho, a psychiatric expert; and Tiffany Montano, Daniel's former therapist.
