Mental Health
Mental Health is currently under construction! This article will be unpolished, and/or missing information. |

Information about any potential intellectual disorders should generally be kept in Intelligence |
Even people with extremely cursory knowledge about Cyraxx can clearly see Cyraxx's mental health is extremely poor, much like many other Lolcows. Cyraxx experiences a wide range of symptoms of mental illness, such as experiencing extreme delusions and constant anger issues, with them being so severe he managed to be classified as a "43" by the Akron PD, which is their code for a mentally disturbed person.[1]
Cyraxx likely suffers from a variety of complex mental health disorders, and given the fact that even trained psychiatrists often struggle with accurately diagnosing people,[2] understanding the full extent or nature of Cyraxx's mental health challenges is a complicated task.
Delusions
Psychosis
Cyraxx displays several symptoms of psychosis, which is a condition characterized by a person suffering from a disconnection from reality.
Notably, Cyraxx heavily displays strong signs of psychosis such as delusions and disorganization of thought or behavior. However, he doesn't really display any signs of sensory hallucinations, which are a key symptom of psychosis.[3] While you don't necessarily need to suffer from hallucinations to be suffering from psychosis,[4] him not outwardly displaying trouble thinking or having issues with speech and communication suggests that his extreme delusions might be better explained by another disorder, such as delusional disorder or schizophrenia. The likelihood of him suffering from psychosis is even less as he is very aware that many of his delusions are lies and were made to achieve some sort of objective.
Delusional disorder
Given the symptoms Cyraxx exhibits, it might be more likely that he suffers from delusional disorder.
Delusional disorder is characterized by the presence of persistent delusions without the prominent disorganization of speech or behavior typically seen in psychosis or schizophrenia.[5] Since Cyraxx primarily displays extreme delusions without significant hallucinations, delusional disorder could provide a more fitting explanation for his condition. This diagnosis could account for his strong, fixed beliefs while explaining the relative stability of his communication abilities.
Anger issues
See Rage
Cyraxx goes into extreme spells of rage often on a whim, and has a long history of doing so. Anger issues aren't classified as a disorder and are instead a symptom of many potential sources, even genetics or hormonal imbalances.[6] Two likely candidates as to why Cyraxx rages so often is him having intermittent explosive disorder (IED) or bipolar disorder.
Bipolar disorder
He may suffer from bipolar or some sort of personality or mood disorder, because of his constant unwarranted freakouts
Intermittent explosive disorder
Intermittent explosive disorder is is a condition that involves sudden outbursts of rage, aggression, or violence that tend to be irrational or out of proportion.[7] Cyraxx is very likely to have IED as he meets most of the criteria for it,[8] that being:
- Recurrent behavioral outbursts representing a failure to control aggressive impulses as manifested by either verbal or physical aggression
- The magnitude of aggressiveness expressed during the recurrent outbursts is grossly out of proportion to the provocation
- The recurrent aggressive outbursts are impulsive and are not committed to achieve some tangible objective
- The recurrent aggressive outbursts cause either marked distress in the individual or impairment in occupational or interpersonal functioning, or are associated with financial or legal consequences
- Chronological age is at least 6
Another thing to note is that you are more likely to have antisocial personality disorder and borderline personality disorder if you have IED,[9] which are both disorders Cyraxx is speculated to have. But, of course, there's a hang-up with Chance definitively having IED, as according to the DSM-5, there must not be a better explanation by another mental disorder or medical condition as a cause for his anger, and other disorders such as a psychotic disorder explain this very well.
Personality disorder
NPD
He may also suffer from Narcissistic personality disorder, due to his delusions that he is as popular as Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson. Selfish acts such as the Vita incident and manipulative tendencies like his constant attempt to play the victim card in situations
Antisocial personality disorder
His lack of empathy or sympathy, his sexual deviancy, violent tendencies and threats seems to point to the possibility of him having Antisocial personality disorder
