Racing

Racing is a massive part of chance's identity, Cyraxx even referring to himself as the drift king of Akron and writing music about him being the drift king,[1] even racing Marty in Forza (who he cheated against).[2] Although a self-proclaimed car guru and long-time member of the underground racing and car culture, Cyraxx never sat behind the wheel of any sort of vehicle due to not having a driver's licence. Many have argued that Cyraxx would find it difficult to be deemed legally able to drive due to his alleged poor eyesight, his short frame, and generally-speaking his very low intelligence and situational awareness.

Even with formalities issues notwhistanding, Cyraxx has showed to be an dangerously mediocre driver in video games, where he uses a steering wheel and pedals controller, spinning out at almost every turn and struggling to keep his car in a straight line for more than a few seconds.

Drift King War

On March 14th 2023, Cyraxx produced a video in which he boldly challenged Marty to a race on Forza Horizon 5,[3] putting up his Twitch account as a wager.

Although Cyraxx insisted on a clean race, it would later be apparent that he was not as honorable as he was holding Marty to be. To begin with, Cyraxx chickened out of his own challenge mere hours later with the excuse that he is too good to be racing Marty.[4] When pressed on the matter by Marty, Cyraxx elaborated by claiming that he only races for the honor of his friends and family, namely his late uncle, Bill. In response, Marty insults Bill and challenges Cyraxx to a race in order to avenge his honor.[5] Furious, Cyraxx accepts. One of the conditions of the challenge was that both parties must have their cameras on. As Marty turns on his camera to show his television screen, Cyraxx mocks his lack of a proper e-racing rig and dips right out of the race.[6] He would return later, however, and this time actually take on the challenge.

The race

At last, the two opponents meet on the track, and after revving their engines up, here they go. Throughout the race, Cyraxx constantly accuses Marty of cheating and displays an overall very poor sportsmanship. After Marty predictably wins the race fairly easily, even after stopping several times to wait for Cyraxx to catch up, Cyraxx demands a rematch, and that this time he is the one setting up the race[7]. During this next race, Cyraxx's driving improves significantly, a miraculous recovery from his previous performance that allows him to steal the victory from Marty. After winning, Cyraxx brashly celebrates and immediately declares himself victor before disconnecting[8].

Initially, Marty humbly accepts the outcome, but his audience however was much more skeptical and claimed that something fishy was going on, pointing out that at several times Cyraxx's wheel turns were inconsistent with his car's trajectory, and that at one point he stares off the screen for over 10 seconds whilst still conserving a perfect track record[9]. As Marty goes over the settings of the last race, he discovers that Cyraxx has shockingly enabled an AI to drive for him[10].

This outrageous revelation prompts Cyraxx to return on the stream to deny these allegations, claiming that Marty was simply despondent after underestimating his opponent.[11]

Drift King War : Part deux

The Drift King War got an unexpected, but decieving reboot over a year later. On September 20th, 2024, Cyraxx was eagerly awaiting to receive a brand-new racing rig as a birthday gift from his then-fiancée, Taylor. Unsurprisingly, the day came and went with no rig at the doorstep. In the evening, the cunning MusicBizMarty revealed that he had the package rerouted to his home with the assistance of Taylor’s ex, Thump, causing much chagrin and even more rage to Cyraxx.

Prodding Cyraxx with the racing rig for some time, Marty decided on September 22nd to up the antes and throw in the rig as a wager if Cyraxx accepts to race against him, with Thump acting as a middleman.[12]

Initially, Cyraxx has the cold feet, and refuses to race on the scandalous claim that Marty has cheated last time and that he is far too worthy of a racer to compete against him. After some pressuring however, Cyraxx accepts, and the two meet over on F1 2022.

In light of their previous encounter, Marty asks that Cyraxx shows his settings before they hit the track, but Cyraxx is reluctant and pressures Marty into starting the race immediately[13]. After around 12 minutes of arguing, it seems that the race is finally about to start, but the little momentum left is immediately killed only 10 seconds into the race, at which point Cyraxx spinned out and immediately disconnected from both the game and the panel.

A little later, Cyraxx re-appears on panel, lambasting Marty for “wasting his time”[14] (keep in mind Cyraxx has in total been arguing for around 20 minutes about issues that he could have resolved in a few seconds) and decided to resume his whining at Marty and Thump for his precious rig.

1000 laps

On December 20th 2020, Chance released a video titled "FM7 1000 LAP ENDURANCE Nurburgring Full Circuit Challenge," in which he promised to drive 1000 laps on the Nürburgring map, which takes around 5-7 minutes per lap,[15] resulting of a total playtime of ~4.8 days. During this time a buddy troll by the name of "GG" offered to pay chance in PlayStation gift cards, and on August 14th 2024 GG appeared on "Music biz marty account 144" "Catching up / GG refuses to let Cyrax off the hook on his laps."[16] In this stream Marty and GG discussed different "solutions," ultimately resulting in nothing happening.
